Authentic race horses

This place looks like it has been around for a while and the audience seems mostly retired people. Nevertheless worthwile to go and make a bet on the horses. Free entrance.

We visited here in quite a large group and were positioned in the (only) restaurant as one of our lads was wearing shorts and flip flops so wasn't allowed in the 'posh' stand! The whole place has a distinct faded glory feel to it, you almost expect to see Dick Tracey-esque characters wander past... Mostly however it is round-bellied middle-aged... More

Free entrance and a view of the city. A great afternoon out but not like an experience at a UK track, as 90% of people were men over 60. Other than that a nice afternoon out.

Horse racing track. It's a bit run down, but because of that it has an authenthic charme. No tourist, just locals. Larking is easy (paid). Entrance is free, so you can spend you're money on placing some bets to make it more fun. Make sure you bet on the race in SP, we bet one in error on the race... More

It's not as posh as Ascot Racecourse in England, but it's still very pretty and funny experience! The place is big, pretty, with restaurant and facilities and of course horse racing for betting. This place is also well know for hosting big gigs! Recommended!

It´s a very beautiful place to visit, just to sit down on the bleacher and look over the cars coming and going far away, and the skyscrapers. There are nice places to walk and some playground. It looked a little bit broken down... But it´s beautiful in its architecture, and with its famous sculpturs by Brecheret

Wasn't sure what to expect, but interested in seeing how horse racing is done outside of Kentucky. There was no admission charge and I watched two races and glad I made the effort. The tall buildings that serve as a back drop to the track provide an interesting yet contradictory view. Everything works similar to how it works in the... More

I don't see anything special. It is a Jockey Club for horses races. Sometimes there are shows and charity fairs. There is a restaurant inside (see reviews about Restaurant Charlô). I have never eaten there...
