We were in Sao Paulo at the beginning of January, a young artist had been killed by the police and Batman Alley was in mourning. They had painted black over all the work and written messages of love and support in its place. There was still plenty of art in the area and it was incredible. We loved the colors, the choices of subject, the neighborhood. In a picturesque part of Sao Paulo, theres a bohemian street with handcrafts and skilled graffiti art lining both sides of the street. This is a very interesting graffiti urban art open space in Vila Madalena, São Paulo. For any comics fan is a must-go place. its nickname came from a graffito of the DC Comics character Batman which was painted on one of the walls in the late 80s, in later years it evolved and it is continually renovated and cared for by local community members.…
