Watched some plays there. Good acoustic, clean, new, nice staff. Watched some plays inside like hair and others and some plays outside of it (the stage can be viewed from the exterior when they open its back) like orchestras and others on sunny Sundays, great cultural place to hangout with family.

This building is something to see both from the outside but also from the inside. Any Oscar Niemeyer fans should definitely check it out. It is mainly a music venue but sometimes has dance performances. It has a beautiful entrance hall. It is only a few minutes walk from the Afro Brazilian Museum and the MAM. Add this to your... More

The title says it all, this is a spectacular concert hall of the late Oscar Niemeyer, even if there is no concert and you are in the park just go into the entrance hall which is such an elegant space. A nice feature is the musical program that includes classical music, folk, Brazilian pop, jazz, Samba and other styles.

Very nice acoustics, there are many shows very cheap if you get the tickets in advance by wesite. Sometimes, on bigger events , the stage is opening in the back, so you will enjoy the show directly from the grass. but only on special events...jazz, urban experiments.
