Located in a Victorian-era structure reminiscent of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Catavento Cultural is chock-full of interactive, hands-on exhibits and educational activities for children. Subjects covered include space, wildlife, geography, the human body and society. They are presented in action-filled, engaging fashion for the little ones. The surrounding neighborhood can be a bit sketchy, so taking a cab is recommended.

What can I say? It's so great and fun for the whole family, even for adults!!! There are some attractions that need to be scheduled, but that's so much to explore that I didn't feel like I had missed anything by not going to these extra activities. I think it's free on Saturdays, or at least at the first Saturday... More

Nice place to take Kids for a Cultural and funny visit. The problem is the terrible traffic in the neighborhood what makes difficult to park in there...

Drawback is that the areas are very tight and it gets crowded, almost claustrophobic, after a while. Tip is to arrive before they open to get tickets to the special shows and exhibitions with limited amount of visitors, something we... More

Top quality museum in a not very nice neighborhood... Be careful. Once inside, lots of interesting interactive attractions.

Really nice - children love it! For all ages, it is interactive and provocative. My daughter joined all possible experiences, learned about sciences, biology and is always asking to go back.
