Neighborhood: Sé
Sé, which derives its name from Sé Square, is a central neighborhood in historic São Paulo. Close by, the Law School, the Museum of the Court of Justice and the Metropolitan Cathedral offer inspiring architecture. If you are looking for cultural activities, head to Caixa Cultural and check the schedule. In the area there is a popular pedestrian street called “Rua Direita”, one of the first streets in the region, which today marks the crowded perimeter. Sé is a great area to explore during daytime, but use caution if visiting alone at night.

Unless you happen to be in the area, this location is currently not worth a visit until
the main building reopens in 2025. The “museum” as it stands is just a room with a few displays of Subbuteo and similar offerings. The site may be ok for kids for a while and there is no admittance fee. There is an attached football and a bar to have an eat and drink too. Best to visit when the building has been completed,

Family aged 9-39 enjoyed the exhibits. There was a bus show going on in the parking lot so that was a random added bonus. Kids loved kicking the soccer ball and adults loved the photos over the decades and fusbol tables (not soccer fans)

Really good museum visit with a reasonable entrance fee. I knew quite a bit about the history of football in Brazil before going here but this really gives you a sense of the history of football without going into too much detail. Plenty for the casual fan.

All football fans must visit this great museum. But surprisingly it's an amazing experience also for others, such as my wife, who doesn't like football at all.
It's because the exhibition contains much more information than about balls and players, and there are also some interactive parts, which make it really fun.
I definitely recommend it.

An interactive museum set within an under renovation soccer (football) stadium. Multiple levels provide various rooms to highlight the history of the sport in Brazil. Sights, sounds, and texture provide for a full experience--including kicking a ball into a goal, listening to the roar of the fans recorded under the seats, and seeing hundreds of photos and videos of the players over the decades: including Pele!

The museum is great. It shows all good Brazilian soccer players and also some important names and events that impacted the history of soccer. Very informative!
BUT it’s only in Portuguese. There’s nothing in English there. Not even a subtitle on the videos. Very frustrating!!!
Also the store at the stadium didn’t have the Brazilian jersey. And nobody at the museum or store could speak English.

The sons and daughters of our German grand- grand father Ottomar. H. emigrated from Wilhelmshaven/ Germany to all over the world.
Some of them emigrated to North America (USA, Canada), some of them to South America (Brasil: Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo), some to Australia and New Zealand, some to South Africa.
Our very large, and international family meets every year in one of these countries. We enjoy very much to be invited to Brasil!
Our youth enjoys - of course - the phatntastic beaches in Rio (Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon), and they travel along the Brasilian coast up to the North; and our seniors enjoy the museums and the nature in Brasil.
We enjoy the invitations into this famous "MUSEO do FUTBOL". It reminds us to the wold famous futbol/ soccer games. We are definitely fans to Brasilian futbol/ sovccer teams.
And, we enjoy the Brasilian Careneval in Rio de Janeiro and in Salvador de Bahia.

Dont visit this place expecting something like a Hall of fame cause it is not. You Will find more experiences and entertainment than history or rare objects. There is no historic Jerseys or idols dedicated galery nor sections related to clubs. Mostly you may see vast number of pictures of world cups and national team records. Not much.

It is amazing place and during our guiding trip we knew that it was the first football staduim in Sao Paulo, and the most famous player in Brazil played in it and scored 157 gools.
It is highly recomended for a visit.

We came here as soon as we arrived in São Paulo and my boyfriend loved it! Even though I’m not a football fan myself it’s a very good museum and there are things written in English so you can follow what is happening as you go around. It was around R$40 each to get in (less than £10!) and you get to go around the football pitch as well. Even if you don’t like football is worth a trip as the Brazilians love it so much and you get sucked into the ever of it all!

Pablo
