Street art is not for lazy tourists :P

Sao Paulo is literally an explosion of the most diverse and interesting street arts!
Here Street Art means politics, expression, social and sexual inclusion as well as the finest way of doing advertisement since billboards are forbidden here.

I'll show to you many monumental murals and the story that goes behind theme while we walk around passing through some of the most iconic buildings of the city.

Many graffiti have a social purpose and a direct impact on the community. I will present it to you and I will be curious to hear your opinions.

This tour is intentionally not covering "Vila Madalena" and the Batman Alley, as I believe that urban movements and social issues occur elsewhere ;)

This tour is for those who want to go a little further a tourist experience and want to dig deep into the reality of this city. Ready for it?!

Paulista Avenue Walking Tour

The Avenida Paulista has represented for São Paulo the economic center of the city from the 50s until today.

Today, littered with skyscrapers and banks, in recent years it has become our most fervent cultural center as well as being a place of innovation, open air life and unexpected events ;)

We will walk along what was the old Avenida path when it was still a very rural area and we will use our imagination to understand how strongly change.

We will meet at Instituto Moreira Salles, a brand new cultural center dedicated to cinema and photography to end at Casa das Rosas (House of Roses) , one of the last examples of
Paulista architecture of the last century

We will talk about coffee, business and architecture trying to describe how the economic boom and the growing economic spiral of the last 150 years have made São Paolo one of the most important cities in the world!

Liberdade & Bixiga Street Food Tour (Italian & Japanese cuisine and much more)

Did you know that Sao Paulo hosts the biggest Japanese community outside Japan and the biggest Italian community in the world?

Liberdade, place with a strong and very long history, once place of executions and militar district, became about 100 years ago the place of settlement of the Japanese immigrants.

Bixiga, once a area of Afro-Brazilian resistance was occupied around the 40's by Italians from Calabria, running away from the misery and the horrors of the II World War

This 2 neighborhoods, very close to each others, are erroneously and simply considered the Japanese and Italian neighborhoods of Sao Paulo, while they're actually places of great ethnic diversity!

All this diversity can be very well synthesized in its peculiar and different cuisine.

Ready to taste Japanese pastel with sugar cane juice, discover about Brazilian sushi and get a sandwich of carne louca before to end with a cannoli ;)
