Morumbi is a neghbourhood and has some interesting attractions. The biggest soccer stadium in town is there and belongs to São Paulo Futebol Clube (http://www.pinheiros.com.br/city/morumbi/estadio.htm)
One very big shopping center is also there - http://www.morumbishopping.com.br/novo_site/
In front of Morumbi Shopping there is another, smller, Market Place - http://www.marketplace.com.br/page/index.asp

Morumbi, the locality around the stadium, is like a parallel city to Sao Paulo, in the sense that, it is well laid out through all the hilly terrain, and seems much cleaner than the rest of the city

Morumbi is a district where rich people live, big houses very desert streets. At night it is very dark becoming more dangerous. The criminals are used to "work" there. We need a car to leave there nothing is in walking distance, to be worst in the morning and afternoon the trafic is terrible.

I was in the Morumbi Arena last time to the Roger Waters The Wall Concert. All the organization was perfect. As well as the eating and drinking services. No problems in arriving and leaving, the only issue goes to the parking area, which does not exist, so you better take a cab!
