We had so much fun in this beach.Though it was my business travel to Sao Paulo but we twice went to Santos to enjoy the beach and it was worth it. Food & Drinks on the beech add to the fun.

No much sand beach, it's the end of the large sandy beach in Santos. But that is the place where you can watch the ships passing by, to enter and exit the Santos Port. In the summer time, cruise ships make their way. Sometimes, 4-5...More

Personally, I don't see many things to do here, it's the end of the beach and the entrance to the port, a place to fish, and nothing else If you are walking or want to go to the aquarium OK

We were lucky last time when we were in Santos because our friend's apartment is just in front of the beach. The beach is super clean, good facilities, interesting people, whether young or old. More or less, same people hanging out by the beach side...More

Not much of a beach but it is a pleasant part of town, with some restaurants, the municipal Aquarium and the ships passing by, all nearby. Amazing views at sunset and on the other extreme of the long walk, the ferry to Guaruja, as well...More

Sao Paulo -> Santos -> Guaruja ->Sao Paulo (8 Replies)
Hello everyone! I am going to Brazil in a couple of weeks. And I'm super excited!! =) My first stop will be Sao Paulo. I would like to go to the wonderful beaches of Sao Paulo state. And I read a lot and searched a lot about the buses that go from Jabaquara Terminal. But I was wondering: Is there a regular bus that leaves from Santos (Ponta da Praia) to Guaruja?? I want to leave Sao Paulo in the morning for Santos, spent the day there and move on to Guaruja, check in at a hotel...More

Hi Hannah, I would rather take a bus straight to Guarujá. You have 2 companies :Ultra and Expresso Brasil, they start at 06:00 a.m and end at 0:30 a.m., runing every 45 minutes. The road is excellent and takes about 1 hour and 15 min.and cost about R$ 23,20. In Guarujá city you have many nice hotels. I've stayed at Gávea Hotel, just facing the ocean, with a very reasonable price. If you want to visit Santos, there are local buses almost every 10 minutes. But I didn't like Santos, the...More
