By 1971 the trams were gone in Santos, driving out by false ideas on progress, lack of forward view, common sense and keeping what was good. There was a test to run the trams again on the beach in the 1980's but failed so the...More

Go back in time where people use to take the "bonde" to walk around town! The guide tells the history about the great old buildings and makes you picture Santos back then! Relaxing and joyfull!

A very nice way to know about Santos and its history. The staff are very courteous and professional. Also, the price of the ticket for this wonderful experience is so cheap that it is priceless..!! Also if you have young children, they will love it.

Sadly, Santos' obvious prosperity has not yet worked its way into the old historical centre, which seems very run down and scruffy (unlike other commercial and residential areas of the city, which seemed bright and prosperous throughout). Nevertheless, the tram tour does give a good...More

The tour guides were very friendly, but we needed translators since they didn't speak English. Overall it was a great experience!

I had a great opportunity to sit on an olden day tram, touring Santos City. Being on the tram made me feel like a 10 year old child going on an exciting amusement park ride. The tram tour is roughly about a 30 to 45...More

Hey Sheila, the tram stops at Praça Visconde de Mauá, which is is super close to the Coffee Museum - it's a square in front of a big building. It's the only stop, you cannot miss it. If I'm right, the Botanical Gardens is... More
