A day trip from Sâo Paulo. The Fazenda do Chocolate is a small simple place to go with small kids. You can buy some chocolate. The restaurant is very simple and the best time for a visit is on weekends.

Have been bringing visitors here for years and each year gets a little more disappointing. Selection of chocolate is minimal, shopping is getting more touristy, less unique. Have heard that they have opened a new restaurant and am looking forward to trying that.

This farm is a good place to spend an afternoon. There are peacocks and chickens roaming around and there are other animals like horses and cows as well. There are fun little shops where you can buy handmade items and there is a cafe and a restaurant for getting a bite to eat. Overall, this is a fun place to... More

This colonial farm turned chocolate factory is a great place to spend an afternoon in Western Sao Paulo, and the drive there is equally beautiful. I'd recommend visiting whether you have children or not. To get to the farm you need to drive through the countryside then into the jungle, along the Tiete river. The road is long and winding... My children used to love to go there when they were 5 and 2. It is a family place to go. They have a mini zoo, kids can ride pones and and feed fishes. Go early and leave early because it can be crowed and parking will seem impossible. The fruits liquor is a must try but I don't know... More

The chocolate Farm is a family outing. There is a petting zoo, restaurant, store, pony rides and a relaxing country atmosphere. The short drive from ITU to the chocolate farm is through a forested paved road which is a delight. The chocolate farm is well worth seeing for an afternoon of family enjoyment.

It's amazing they don't charge an entrance fee or parking, so considering the free side of it I consider the place a good outing specially for the little ones. It's a small, convenient and nice farm that a family will enjoy. But there are some "but": 1) avoid after 12 - I left just after, parking full, crowded, then it... More
