Twice a day two parts of the ocean join around an island. It's something rare and amazing. The water is clear and not too rough. The only problem is the Hotel Jequitimar that closes part of the beach as if they own it. Parking on side streets is not easy on weekends.

Beautiful beach in Guaruja. The beach is small compared to other beaches, but the beach and water are very clean. There aren't any restaurants near the beach. Wonderful place to visit.

Beautiful shoreline with white sand and a rather calm sea. Your need sun protection and definitely stay below some shade or palm tree.

This beach is a little far from the city. It's not so crowded, but if you want a good spot to park on the weekends, you better get there early, around 8-9 am. The water is so warm and the waves are so nice to have a good swim time in the ocean. You can have some chairs and shade... More

Charming beach.....clean clear water, white sand, no buildings towering over the sand....feels more remote than it actually i. the owners of the food stands provide free umbrellas and beach chair for their customers. close enough to Sao paulo for a day trip if your so inclined.

This is a very beautiful beach. Although it is summer, the beach was not crowded, beautiful people around. On the negative side, there was not many options for food unless you are booked at some of the hotels nearby.

Bodyboarding here with local friends was amazing! Plenty of small shop along the way to get food and drinks! Cool at low tide to explore! If the waves seem average , just wait for the set waves, they line up the entire length of this place and roll thru with authority!

I would rather go to tombo beach if I am looking for some crashing and nice waves to surf, but Pernambuco is some sort of lake combined

This is the best beach in Guarujá. You can either rent a house for a season or stay at Softel Guarujá Jequitimar. The beach is calm with a very good view a warm ocean watter. In case you are in São Paulo and don't want to spend much time in the road going to the north coast of Sao Paulo,... More
