Just an organized, crowded and clean garden with a lot of different types of flowers and trees. But if you want some information/ explanation of the plants, figure that out by yourself. Very different from the other garden at a near city - Santo Antônio dos Pinhais - which we had a guided tour who explained a bunch over the plants they have there ... maybe as I expecting at least the same experience ... not quite that ...

It is a lovely place, particularly on a sunny day. Very clean and well designed. However, too pricy. Confusing entrace due to the need of charging/payment scheme. No credit cards accepted. Gentlemen WC facilities placed only and far away in the car park or within the park. My visit has started with a sad note at car park, where a harsh and high maintenance employee call me "ignorant" as I was not steering the car precisely as he was demanding (though I consider myself a quite experienced and civilised driver with a driving license since 1977). I found this sort of "guidance" unnecessary not to say the worst... and they charged R$ 20 for that

This place doesn’t accept credit cards. Ridiculous that in this day in age literal street vendors let you pay with card but not a park that is supposedly the #1 place to visit on trip advisor. This is extremely hostile to foreign visitors who don’t have Brazilian bank accounts. This should NOT be the recommended place to visit and there should be info on trip advisor that clearly states that if you don’t have cash you’re not getting in. Extremely frustrated and disappointed.

Very nice, well-kept PRIVATE gardens, with a large labyrinth and extraordinary view of the hills. Up-hill walking, so beware if you have a physical condition or travel with elderly. It also somehow expensive and they only take CASH, no credit cards, so be prepared. TIP: lots of sun and not many shades, so bring sunblock, hats and sunglasses during summer- autumn

The place is very small compared to the pictures.
I would say it may suit for old people who likes to see some flowers, me and my girlfriend got bored after spending 10 minutes there taking some pics.
Totally doesn't worth the 50$ real we paid in total and the time driving there.

It was my first visit to Amantikir gardens and I found it a bit expensive to get in and we almost gave up. However, since we had driven there and we saw good information about the place we decided to take a risk and pay to enter.
The place has a very cool presentation already from the entrance. There is a small cafe and a cute little shop, but also everything very expensive and we ended up not buying anything.
When we entered we were greeted by a person who already informed about the price, about the structure of the place, that it is forbidden to take pictures for marketing (which we were a bit disappointed as we were in beautiful gardens of Europe and there is no this restriction) and In case we decide to enter to visit the gardens we receive a map to follow the various paths and gardens.
We found everything very organized, clean and the well maintained. The gardens are beautiful and represent a bit of each country with unique touches of local plants and flowers of that region which makes it all very special.
There are also points for views of the mountains that really are breathtakingly and when you go in the greenhouse, even if you do not feel like it, go and visit the bathroom, its a cinematographic view bathroom! There is a place to make a snack but we do not visit, we prefer to stay outside to be able to see everything and you can walk hours if you really want to enjoy all the different gardens (Based on Japan, China, London etc)
There are also some gardens that form a very entertaining maze for kids and adults, kind of the one from the Harry Potter movie.
Anyway, we thought it was worth the visit despite the expensive price.

Recommend: Yes, it’s a beautiful place to visit and enjoy the local nature.

Tips: The parking spot in front of the park is free. We think the place is really cool but if you go when its raining or really cold its not going to be the same thing as going during a nice and sunny day, because it is very high and open and you have to walk a lot to visit all gardens.

We went and we were told that they only accept cash and cheques. The prices are absurdly expensive. 40 reais per person? Really?! Good luck

Tip: ask if your hotel has a deal with Amantikir and you can get cheaper tickets. Payed 10 reais per person in Oct 2014.

The garden is beautiful so get your camera ready for some wonderful pics. It sits at a high point of the mountain and has panoramic views - definitely a plus.

Kids enjoyed the gardens as well, with space to run, fun at the maze and the flowers and lavender smell.

Our whole visit took about 2 hours because we took a whole lot of pictures. 40 minutes should be enough for a quick visit.

It is a very interesting, very beautiful place. A big problem is that there are few signs about this place in the town. It is a little bit hard to find the way. I drove several kilometers not knowing for sure if I was in the right way. The price is a little bit high and they don´t accept debit or credit cards.
