That is an almost empty paradise beach, with its white sand and surrounded by green hills, with few (but really exclusive) houses in its neighbourhood, just a 15´hide by car from Garopaba´s center. High season in the summer (between december and april), but in the colder season, between june and august (when the best swells come), Silveira also becomes an excellent surf spot. You may find difficulties to find the route and, even more, to reach the place, because of the wild road to that (depending on conditions, only 4x4), but no doubt: worth it! If you´re a lucky guy, you will also find a house or even a cottage to rent!

This is a wonderful, very beautiful and very chilled beach, there is amazing surf , so the sea can be quite rough, and come prepared with food and water as there is little or no commerce on this beach ( depending on which time of year you visit).

Approx. 90km south of Florianopolis, Santa Catarina, there's a great and still unspoiled beach. Mostly surfers and cool gauchos (people from Rio Grande do Sul). I usually stay @ Morada Prainha, up on the hill, greast beach view, individual cabans with kitchen, grill for barbecue and hammock. The owner, Marcia is ultra friendly and a dog lover. Perfect cost/benefit.
In the evening, dinner at the Mormai restaurant in Garopaba, with lounge music and great fish.
For breakfast, just off the hill of Silveira in front of Mormai there's a tiny hut with great juices, cereals, natural sandwiches and those protein stuff that healthy people love.
Be prepared to see some of the best bodies in Brazil. Make sure to buy a Brazilian bikini (girls) or sunga (guys).

Loved everything about Silveira Beach. Friendly people, great location, easy parking. Definitely a must go if you are looking for an uncrowded beach in Brazil

Very close to downtown this beach is famous for its surfing condition. You can enjoy this beautiful place, surrounded by nature, even if you don't surf.

Silveira is one of those beaches where you will never forget. Wild nature, beautiful ocean scene, great waves and nice places to stay. Silveira is a pearl, a well preserved place that deserves to be visited. There are no pavement road to get there, so pay attention if you're ridding a short car, though.

Unlike almost every other beach I've visited on this trip to Florianópolis, this beach is not jam packed. My friend here says it is great for surfing, though I can't confirm if that's the case. I just sat there, read, played with my daughter, swam, and appreciated a beautiful quiet beach.

This is the most beautiful beach in Garopaba. It does not have enough infrastructure, but it compensate with the beautiful cenario! For surfers is the best option, for Family is extremely quiet and there are a couple of good choices for stayng (Morada Prainha and Bangalore).

More quiet and Less populated then surrounding beaches in the region. Excellent surf and beautiful surrounds.
