Very beautiful beach! Great waves and friendly folks. We had a great time! An English surfer offered us a cup of tea at his cot on the top of the moutain! It was great!

One of the best beaches. Great surf. Has beach restaurants bars as well but plenty of natural space. Over Xmas, new year it can take a while to get to as traffic can be bad.

Probably better at summer. Beautiful people all around, making it really good for eye canding. Loved the Bar do Deca, and how relaxing the beach is on June

"Mole" means soft which referes to the sand. This also means that it's full of movable holes while in the water, which is very dangerous, specially because the waves are really strong. Good only for surfers.

A fun, relaxing beach. It was high season so pretty busy but not overcrowded. Spent the day here, you can rent beach umbrellas quite cheap. There is a great little bar restaurant with amazing acai bowls, for a little break.

This beach has been our 'home base' during our entire stay. The beach itself is beautiful - there are waves almost every day, and a great surf shop (Cultura Surf) where you can rent boards that aren't old horrible and used up! They let you rent and test semi-new boards (in hoping that you'll buy of course), but they have... More

It is a great beach with structure like parking places with a shower (choose one of the firsts parking places if you are coming from the Lagoa). There is one almost in the top of the mountain that is a nightmare. You can go to a restaurant or choose to rent a chair and admire the beach.

My husband and I spent the whole day here just enjoying the sun, drinking caipirinhas and chilled coconuts and watching the surfers in the water... It was lovely!

We stayed across the street from the beach at Canto da Mole. Praia Mole is located about 5 minutes up the road (by car) from Barra da Lagoa town. There are a couple of small juice shops and a nice little restaurant right on the beach. The beach is beautiful and the big waves are great for surfing/body surfing. We... More
