Along with Santo Antonio de Lisboa, the best preserved portuguese colonial settlement on the island. Home of the better oyster restaurants in Florianópolis, and they're big! Not so much a place for walking by as Sto Antonio (no waterfront sidewalk to name as), but good...More

If you're looking or a nice place to take beautiful landscape pictures and portuguese heritage's architecture, that's the place. It's not a place to swim, though. Only to have a beautiful and peaceful day walking along the place.
