I went there with my mum expecting to see rescued turtles which were going to be released into the sea after getting better. However, this place keeps captive turtles that were born there and will never live in the sea. It's really sad to see those turtles living in a small swimming pool just for 'entertainment purposes'. They explained that... More

Hello, thanks for your visit. There are some things that I think our monitors didn´t explain to you. The turtles are not here for entertainment purposes, the turtles that are in captivity are here to education and sensibilization of the visitors. Our guides are trained to show to the people that come here what are the main danger to the... More

Very nice place to go in the afternoon mainly with kids. The staff are very approachable. The turtles are great and they have many types, money goes for a good cause.

Good to see the work going on here for turtle preservation. Plenty of information about and very good for school kids. You certainly gain a good impression of the size of turtles.

It took a while to get there by bus but was worth the effort. Not a huge place but they have lots of turtles and turtly info. Try and be there for one of the feeding times.

It is a small reservoir but great to spend some interesting and educational time with kids. They get a good opportunity to view the sea turtles up close and understand the importance of nature's preservation. The place is nicely maintained with few kids activity spots. Staff are very nice and welcoming.
