It was super cute, but the options of what to do there are limited. It’s worth the visit as the restaurants serve good food and drinks, there’s a playground for small children and an ice cream parlor with little souvenir shops. It’s a short visit unless you’re going to hang out at the bars and drink awhile.

Great place showing German immigrant culture. A lot of options to taste Germany or buy some souvenirs. Excellent German restaurants or chocolate store as well as event arena. The Christmas decorations are fascinating and beautiful as well as the area for children or Santa's house to take a picture with Santa Claus.

This was our first visit to Oktoberfest and it was a lot of fun! It took us a while to figure out that you have to buy a payment card and charge it up to use for food and beer. If it runs low, you can put more money on it at a station or there are people walking around that can do it for you. So many different types of beer available and people in traditional german costumes with several stages of entertainment. The food appears to be a hit or miss. We decided to share plates sampling items until we found a place that had good food. Well be back next year!

We were in Munich to see other attractions and so spent part of an afternoon at Oktoberfest which is the world's largest fair held. We bought tickets, wandered around for a while, looked into the tents and watched some of the amusement rides. We had decided not to go the 1st weekend, since we had been told that it would be mobbed. There were certainly plenty of people but, in such a huge space, you could move about easily. Another traveler had suggested we go to the Oide Wiesn tent which they said was more staid for middle aged couples such as us. It was a good idea. At least in the afternoon, there were plenty of seats. The band was playing & groups were performing dances. Food selection is limited & rather expensive but the beer was great. It was fun seeing the women in dirndls & the men in lederhosen. This is a wonderful place to say "I've been there!"

Once a year Blumenau city hosts a great party Brazil's Oktoberfest. It lasts about two weeks. The celebration starts at 11am on weekend days and goes for 5am. There are four simultaneos shows in the pavillions.

For kids there are an extra area Kidshaus.

If you are a party guy come after 11pm.

You have a lot of different beer brands/types (more than 30). At about $3,5 (usd) peer dose. Negative point they serve you in plastic cup. BUT you can buy an alluminium or glass one and drink on it. It is a well expended money.

Other nice thing to do is to come in a party custom as Fritz (man) or Frida (woman) you spent about $80 to 120 (usd) in a basic custom but you get free ticket for the party. It's a $10(usd) economy per day and 30minutes less lanes for ticket buying.

Bring money, not all places accept plastic money.

Take a lot of pictures.

Come by taxi- it is allmost the same price to come by car, the parking lots are very expansive and by taxi you do not need to worry about policr fiscals catching alcahool abuse.

After 1am everybody is drunk, but I saw no fight nor confusion. The party organization acts fast so no one gets disturbed.

We visited Blumenau during Oktoberfest and went to the Vila Germanica a few times. We went once in the early evening on a weekday - we did a little shopping for souvenirs, ate dinner, and rode some of the rides in the amusement park. We had a lot of fun and we were really impressed with how organized and clean everything was, and how friendly all the staff are. The second time we went was on a Saturday evening - even though it was very busy, the lines weren't too long, and the music and other attractions were top-notch.

The best restaurant at Vila Germanica Park is definitely Bier Vila, where you have 40 different types of draft beer and the best German Cuisine. If you come to Blumenau it is a "must" to have some beer there! Cheers!!! I 🍻🍻

The Vila Germanica is a Blumenau Must! It's even more so now that it's all decked out for Christmas. Eisenbahn's new restaurant is very good as are others. It's a great place to shop, mingle, people watch and sample some very fine brews... Blumenau Brewery's Capivara Little IPA is my (global) favorite!

Blumenau is a city built by German imigrants, and in Vila Germanica Park you may well have a flavour of Germany. It's not an extraordinary place, but you find there good food and drinks, and depending on the day and season, and time of your visit, you'll also be entertained with German music. Nice restaurants for a meal.

That's a quite interesting place! How to imagine a very German place in Brazil? The food was great, the beer excellent and the people very happy to server you. It's good if you want to go with children and wheelchairs are welcome.
