There is plenty to do alone the beach. Restaurants, shops and fun stuff to do. The beach is about 2 miles long and very deep. It will get crowded on the weekends with people in small bathing suits, be ready if you are from the states.

There isn't much to say about the place, it is a gorgeous beach of the northeastern region of Brazil. About the services, you can rent a parasol and some beach chairs for as little as R$7 and the beer costs just as much for the 600mL bottle. One thing that was off is that they don't prepare food at the... More

We went many times to this beach where we found nice restaurants and bars. The beach is nice for swimming and many people around. One of the best beaches of Natal.

This is a great beach to enjoy with family. The water is warm & the waves are gentle. For about 15 reais you can rent an umbrella and seats while you enjoy your coconut water. There are many vendors that come to sell you food & other stuff and the main street has turist suveneirs. Simply put a nice simple... More

Is the most popular beach, it gets really crowded with different sellers, the best option is to stay in one of the stops and borrow some shadow, if you drink or eat something there then you don have to pay the shadow. it was a bit crowded around 11am but around 2/3pm it gets awesome, not that many people!

Nice and relaxing beach. Calm water and cold drinks! Enjoy the warm sand and broad beach. More than enough space.

My husband and I stayed in Ponta Negra at Serhs hotel. The hotel was about a mile down from the busy part of ponta negra. So the beach area in front of the hotel was absolutely beautiful, clean and not crowded. When you go down to ponta negra it just gets a little dirty and crowded. Not terrible but I... More

Not the best beach around, but its a fine place to spend some time with friends when you haven't a better plan.
