We have been travelling around South America for 3 months and this one of the best tours we have done. Nina's knowledge and enthusiasm brings Rio's street art to life so you feel like you are part of real Rio life rather than just a tourist.

The tour itself is more than just street art though, as you experience and learn about Favela communities, the history of Rio, see some beautiful viewing points throughout the city and its topped off by great beer and popcorn at the micro brewery at the end. 10/10

Nina is the perfect guide to show you the amazing street art in Rio. Passionate, friendly and informative, it's like checking out the art with a friend.
Driven around different areas of the city, you get to see some amazing art and hear the story behind it.
Topped off with a visit to a cool bar in Leblon.
Great, and worth the money

My husband found this tour and Nina was the best tour guide we had in Rio. She comes from a unique perspective in that she knows a lot of the graffiti artists. She has a college degree in the arts and ran a pop up art gallery. She is extremely passionate about the art and an excellent teacher. Her goal is to expand our awareness in how we see the world. I left her tour feeling more informed and curious about graffiti which is everywhere in Rio. Graffiti has been legal for the last few years so it is fast becoming a key component of the visual beauty of Rio! We took the tour that focused on Ipanema and the botanical gardens and ended in a brewery. The beer was not included but was an excellent way to end the tour especially on a warm day! Nina offers many tours. Don’t miss her tours! You will look at Rio in a newfound manner. Thank you.

Nina Chini Gani was my tour guide. She showed us the amazing examples of street art and explained the stories behind them. I will never look at “graffiti” the same way again. I highly recommend this trip as it is fascinating and takes you off the beaten path.

There are few ways as personal get into the head and heart of a city as through its street art. Nina, the creator of this tour and its guide, knows the artists, their back-stories, and their lives. We started in Ipanema, and after a thorough “tell me what you see... now look at this” introduction worthy of your most thought-provoking teacher, we hopped in her car and traveled the city! We even ended (almost) the tour in The Jeffrey Store brew pub! I’ve taken many tours, and even several graffiti tours, but this is BY FAR THE BEST! Thanks to a caring and knowledgeable guide, Nina!!!!

This is the first street art tour that I have done and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The tour was in the south part of Rio and lasted approximately four hours, finishing off in a Micro Brewery.

Nina was a fantastic guide, full of knowledge and enthusiasm!!! Hearing the meanings and stories behind the artwork really added to the experience.

This was an amazing tour and was one of the highlights of the trip!!!

Nina is a passionate street art guide. Her interest in street art pre dates her launch of her touring company. She knows the art and the artists. On the tour she shares the story of the art and the artists of Rio with you. Much of the art is used to uplift areas - such as schools. A large amount is used to convey political messages and to create a voice for those that have no voice in Rio. I loved my tour with her. I loved learning about her life, her city and her political views! A wonderful insight into life in Rio. Don’t miss out on experiencing Nina’s tour while visiting Rio

Wow Nina- you spent the whole day with Rami and I and we saw just so much! How wonderful of you. This was our last day in Rio, and your usual day off. You really left us feeling so lucky to have reached out to you and researched this tour. We have endless photos, endless stories and forever memories about our time with you hunting art and learning about the artists. I loved your intimate knowledge about the angels and the artists. It's profound. Thank you for the tour and for being so flexible with what we wanted to see, and for letting us borrow umbrellas so we don't get soaked in the rain. You are an angel and you made for such a very fun trip! PS so glad you brought the globo!

I was expecting a walk through a neighbourhood or two and thought it was something the kids (age 7 and 10) would enjoy.

WOW. The tour went way beyond my expectations. The guide spoke fantastic English and had lots to say about everything. She included the kids and spoke about art in a way that was easy for them to remember and understand.

And not only did we walk, but we then hopped into a van and drove to see some larger street art projects, first in Santa Teresa, and then near the Botanical Gardens. We learned so very much about the art, the styles and the artists. We're now having so much fun recognizing other bits of street art done by the same artists we learned about. The kids loved it! Though I hope my 7yo changes his mind about wanting to move to Rio to become a street artist.

The tour ended at a great little microbrewery with galley in Leblon. The guide had a quick drink with us and then left the group. Turns out you have to pay for the beer - which is a bit more than regular Brazilian beer on the beach - and you're nowhere near a Metro stop even though you start at one. So, be sure to have some extra cash for beer and a taxi because this tour is worth it!!

Our family (mom, dad, 2 daughters in their 20's) did this tour and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Rio. Nina showed us street art in a number of different areas of the city, including the walls around a school, the entrance to a tunnel, walls high up in Santa Teresa and in a small favela. Nina's enthusiasm was contagious. Many of the artists are her friends and she knows their distinctive styles and bits of gossip. By the end of the tour we were able to differentiate between them ourselves. The tour gave us a different insight into both Rio and street art in general. 3 1/2 hours well spent.
