I love this place! The sunsets are amazing & people come out to picknic, for a stroll, to walk their dogs or simply for a jog. It gets quite busy & still is peaceful!

Idyllic place for walking at the foot of the beach of ipanema. You can take a walk on the lake or walk and enjoy the tropical fauna and fauna of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Good place to sip a fresh coconut water.
With the extension of 7.5 km, the Lagoon is the prefect spot for jogging and biking. Also to relax and make picnics with friends and family. Recently they increased the policing and nocturnal illumination.

It's a lake. A very nice lake by many mountains, but it's a lake. The traffic around the lake when I passed by was very heavy, so I really didn't spend time at the lake as a result.
It's nice to have the lake in the middle of the city, though it does mean it has busy roads near it for some of the circuit. We hired bikes and cycled round it. It was a holiday so was super busy with bikes, walkers,...More
