I do Transfers, Tours , Trips to Buzios, Angra , Paraty and so on ,with my own car. Above and beyond the call of duty

After spending 5 nights in Rio, unknown to me, my flight from Rio to Sao Paulo had been cancelled. Gus was meant to transfer me from my hotel to the airport.

He promptly advised that my flight had been cancelled and that we would have to leave for the airport earlier. After having agreed to an earlier time, he messaged me again saying that we should leave a bit earlier just to be safe.

On the way to the airport, he advised me of my options. Either I would get a direct flight to GRU Sao Paulo international Airport or I would have to fly the the domestic Airport and then shuttle to GRU. He said "take which flight is available"

On arriving to the airport, I asked him if there would be anyone to assist me due to the lauguage barrier. He was my knight in shining Armour! He said that he won't just leave me alone and that he has to make sure that I get home. He went to the airline counter got my ticket to Sao Paulo domestic Airport, he told me again what I needed to do in respect of taking a shuttle to the GRU Sao Paulo international Airport.

He went as far as walking me to the boarding gates and bidding me a safe trip.

He was amazing! Extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and fluent in English.

A heartfelt thank you Gus. Had it not been for your quick thinking and help, I would not have made my flight back home.

Gus -- Great tour guide in Rio

Gus transported our group of 6 between our hotel and the Rio de Janiero airport and took us on a 2 day tour of Rio. He continuously described all the sights and parts of the city we passed with excellent, easily-understandable English and a fun personality. In many ways, he was more like a friend than a hired guide. Noteworthy, one of us needed a hospital after a leg injury, and Gus recommended the best in the area and then checked back by text for several days after our tour ended to make sure everything was OK.

A wonderful trip to Rio with Gus

Gus was our private guide in our 4 days trip to Rio. Thanks to Gus we had unforgettable tour of Rio, He took us to all the attractions, told us all about the history, culture and folklore of this beautiful city with a very good knowledge of English. He showed us the nightlife of Rio and all the time took care of our personal safety. Gus was the perfect caring guide.

Wish we had him for a private tour

Gus picked us up from the airport and took us to our hotel in Rio. He was there waiting for us with our name sign in hand. He wouldn't let us touch our luggage, he handled everything. It was about a 45-minute drive form the airport to The Fairmont, so Gus showed us some of the passing sites, as well as providing us with historical information and even personal information. His English was exceptional and we really wish he could have done our 2 days of private tours, but he was already booked up. If we ever get back to Rio, Gus will be my 1st phone call.

A great tour starts with a great guide

Arriving in Brazil for the first time for our sons wedding, we were looking for a tour guide who spoke English to show us the highlights of Rio de Janeiro. That's how we found Gus! Gus' expertise in all things Brazil was apparent from the start. His knowledge coupled with his friendly and enthusiastic personality made you feel as if you were with a friend not a stranger. We have traveled quite a bit and been on many tours, however, Gus stood out in many ways. For example, when we needed last-minute transportation for several family members to our sons wedding, we called Gus and he was happy to assist. Also, my mother has Parkinson's and Gus was extremely attentive to her making sure she was comfortable and safe at all times. When we were looking for dinner options, Gus suggested Churrascaria Palace that gave us a taste of Brazilian barbecue at its finest. Bottom line, Gus is a 5 star tour guide. No need to look further if you are visiting Rio. If you can't make it in person for a tour, check out one of Gus' virtual tours. Happy traveling!

Best guide in Rio!

Gus was fantastic guide in Rio. We felt lots of attention, care and personal involvement. He was acting not only as professional but as a real friend trying to show us all his enormous love to his country. We managed to see not only tourist attractions but also some hidden spots from Gus personal collection. Do not hesitate to engage him for your trip! It will be your best experience ever!

We felt in good hands! He was engaging and charismatic. Telling us so many interesting stories about Rio and the people of Brazil. It was an absolute pleasure to spend the day with him!

Best Guide for your Rio Experience

Spectacular with Gus

No other guide is as attentive, informative, and flexible like Gus. Your trip can be customized down to the minute and he gives great location tours, knows great food, and entertainment. You can’t go wrong having Gus as your guide. I highly recommend him and send all my friends and contacts to him when they are visiting Rio. Can’t wait to tour with Gus again for years to come!

Knowledgeable and fun guide for anything in Rio

Gus knew the ins and outs of each site we visited, which allowed us get the most out of our experience. He also spoke English very well and provided interesting facts about Rio and the sites. We were running on a tight timeline and Gus helped us plan accordingly. 10/10!
