Add on top of that a tour with a knowledgeable guide and a very affordable ticket price (the one that will not make you feel like being robbed if traveling as a group) - and it will make a very pleasing visit indeed. Also accessible via subway with 500m walk.

A tour of ancient Jerusalem, a well-designed model, rich in detail and having your own very friendly and knowledgeable local guide to history, this place is worth visiting, it exudes incredible peace and learning.

I was pleasantly surprised and learned a great deal from this special exhibit. If you have any interest in the design and layout of ancient cities, this deserves your attention. This is a scaled down model of Jerusalem and built with careful accuracy and detail. It was interesting to see the very big homes the rich lived in and the small homes the humble families lived in. Ticket includes an informative 60 minute guided tour.

An excellent place.
An immersion in history, not just that of Israel.
It is a very well conducted visit.
Accessible to all levels of knowledge.
I've lost count of the number of times I've been to the CCJ.
I always take new students to see the place.
There is also a sensorial experience, through biblical perfumes and the handling of the materials used in the model.
I recommend it to everyone.

I took a group from my cell and it was so good that other brothers from my church wanted to visit too. The first group was guided by Renata and the second group with Maycon. So I don't know which is best. Both visits were a blessing.
