Full day tours starts at the Christ reedemer one of the seven wonders and at Tijuca rain forest to see monkeys and birds following by a wonderful beach tour at Copacabana beach and Ipanema beach the most beautiful so after we are going to Sugar loaf at the mountains where the wonderful city of Rio de janeiro started to grow in the 15th so we have a magic view from the all city where the famous James bond made the movie Moonraker so after going to the city french and the portuguese colonial towns

I originally had a tour scheduled with another tour guide but he had a family emergency. Gentil was able to do the tour at the last moment and all turned out fine.
I quickly discovered that I need to come back and spend more time so I will be going back in 2017 and see more of Rio and nearby areas. Even then it wont be enough. But it's a start.
Gentil was knowledgeable of the areas I wanted to visit and was able to get around the traffic and provide information of the places we visited. We had some interesting talks and including the upcoming elections in both countries.

- Christ the Redeemer
- Samba drums at the Carnival parade area
- Colonial city center with the San Sebastian Cathedral and the opera house
- Selaron mosaic steps
- Santa Teresa with the Ruins park from the Lady Laurinda Santos house
- Niteroi
- Niemeyer museum
- City Park at Niteroi with the view of Rio.
- Maracana Stadium
- Lagoon at Niteroi
- Leblon beach mirante

We had a wonderful time with Gentil last month, he is a very special tour guide, knows Rio like the back of his hand and speaks perfect english. We spent 5 days in Rio, we are a couple with our 18 month old baby. Gentil picked us up at the airport and organized a wonderful trip for us: he took us around all the famous places in Rio (touristic hits) but also to the genuine Rio, his Rio. We had a wonderful Feijoada for a decent price in Santa teresa - where brazilian people go, not the tourist trap. This is what we really liked with Gentil: he made us discover a very sepcial Rio : the cariocas' Rio - the best rio!!! He knows everything about this city, the culture, history and also the fun places! We definitly recomend his services as a MUST do in Rio.

We spent five days in Rio and had a great time. We were met at the airport by Gentil Nunes who made us feel very comfortable. Gentil speaks very good english and his knowledge of Rio of course, is incredible. Gentil conducted a number of private tours with us. He went out of his way to make special arrangements when our scheduled plans required changes (don't forget the honeymoon!) and we are very grateful to him for making our visit to Rio very enjoyable. We recommend his services very highly.

Nothing makes your trip more interesting than having a guide who will take you to the sites you must see in Rio, and give you the history behind them. Gentil Nunes was the person you want for those once-in-a-lifetime trips to guide you from Sugar Loaf to the Corcovado, and to see the Two Brothers up close. With ample time to take in the scenery, and to take those memorable photos to view once back home. Gentil took his time at each site, but was very good at speeding us through long lines with his connections. So, if you go to Rio, be sure to look up Gentil, or ask for him when you get there, (Rio Global Tours). We hope to see him again!!! Best regards, Gerry & family!

We contacted Gentil at the suggestion of a coworker. I initially was skeptical of hiring a private tour guide. Gentil proved me skepticism to be false. He is very knowledgeable about Rio and we were able to accomplish a lot within a tight time frame. I strongly suggest using Gentil.

We had the most wonderful time on this tour. We were lucky to have Gentil to show us around. We highly recommend him. He is knowledgeable, he shared with us so much information and because we were the only ones on the tour (as it was low season) we had his whole attention. He answered all our questions and he made us feel really comfortable and it felt like we knew him for years. A very energetic and positive person. We weren't so keen on Rio, but thanks to this tour our opinion has changed 180 degrees.

My wife and I never hire private guides, but my sister who recently visited Rio insisted that we hire Gentil. I'm glad we did! We got to see a side of Rio that tourists never see.
It's stunning how much he knows- learning the history of each attraction made us appreciate the trip so much more. I'm surprised be doesn't teach history at a university!
Personality is very important in a private guide since you'll be spending a lot of time with him/her. Gentil is very personable, a great conversationalist and hilarious. All of this helps to make a vacation an unforgettable, memorable experience to cherish for a lifetime.

I very highly recommend Gentil as a guide and problem solver. Although you may plan your trip before hand unexpected things can happen. Like being picked up by the wrong tour group. Gentil knows everyone in the area involved with tourism. He will make a few phone calls and your vacation is back on schedule. He is friendly family man and is very easy to talk to.

Wow what a week! I still can't believe everything from my trip to Rio was real...it still feels like a dream. I spent 3 days with Gentil-amazing! We went to Petropolis, Paraty, and explored Rio. On one of the days we didn't have Gentil with us, we struggled a bit to make good use of our time and weren't sure how to get around and what to see. Having a personal guide, with a car and ability to translate was a lifesaver. Not to mention the ability to see so many things in a short time. One day in Rio I went parasailing, and was devastated that I lost the SD card the company gave me with all my pictures. Gentil and I went to the place where I parasailed, and he was able to help get a copy made. He knew who to talk to, and after my emails to the parasailing company went unanswered I was losing hope but he saved the day. I really wanted to see Paraty and we had already booked our lodging, but he we were able to take a day tour with Gentil. Also, his daughter happened to be off school on one day and he asked if I would mind if he brought her. She was so adorable! I asked her to come with us every day I got such a kick out of her! If you meet her ask her to do her Walking Dead impersonation.
