It is a very old and nice building that you can visit if you are in the downtown area. Perhaps if the weather is good, you won't have time, but if you have some time it is worth the visit.

The CCBB is housed in the former Bank of Brasil building, which was repurposed after the government and with it the Bank moved to Brasilia. When we visited it was a bit underwhelming with a renovation going on, and no exhibition worth mentioning. There is...More

An oasis from the heat on a tour of the city, with free water refills. That said, it's an interesting place in itself, converted into a tourist attraction from a central bank building - so plenty of marble and high ceilings to enjoy.

The CCBB is my favorite place to go and see an exposition or any sort of cultural activity. The building is beautiful and it is always well taken care of. It is clean, the A/C works well and people are very friendly there.

I went there for an exhibition with my friends. The exhibition was very interesting and different from other..maybe it suprised me too much and it wasn't so beautiful, but it impressed me and showed a different point of the view.

I love this place. The receptionists, securities and art educators are very nice. Sometimes I go to the library there and I always find what I want. Certainly as a tour guide I'll do a tour there as soon as possible.

Downtown Rio is the place where this city was born.
With modern skyscrapers sharing space with historical
buildings and landmarks, this neighbourhood is living
proof that the old and the new can live together
harmoniously. As you would expect, downtown is where
all major companies house their offices. However, the
region isn’t restricted to businesses. Gems such like
the “Paço Imperial,” which is a cultural centre that
