If you are in the downtown area on a weekday, it is worth stopping into the Caxia Cultural Center to see what is on display since admission is free. Some exhibits are very good such as a exhibition of Henri Matisse’ Jazz I saw there....More

This art gallery is downtown Rio, so traffic wise it makes sense to go on a weekend. The exhibitions are always very unique and interesting! People of all ages gather here to appreciate art in a fine, air conditioned - not to big gallery!
