Ipanema is considered Rio's crown jewel. It offers the best view of the sunset from Arpoador and is inspiration for the legendary song, “The Girl from Ipanema.” Ipanema is an upscale area, home to many high-end restaurants and luxury shops, many of which can be found on the charming Garcia d'Ávila Avenue. The neighbourhood is very rich culturally, housing many art galleries that show contemporary art. There is also a great variety of nightlife in the neighbourhood, which buzzes with many options for every taste.

Buen panorama de domingo

Todos los domingo se pone una feria en esta plaza, de 8 am hasta como las 6 pm. Puedes encontrar distintos tipos de artesanía, carteras y cinturones de cuero, ropa, joyas y accesorios, cosas para el hogar, entre otros. No todo lo que ofrecen es "artesanal" y hay cosas que chinas, pero vale la pena irse a dar una vuelta.
Queda a 2 cuadras de la playa de Ipanema.

Domingo de feria "artesanal"....

La plaza entre semana es tranquila, los días domingos se instala una feria donde algunos puestos ofrecen productos artesanales, y otros no tanto; en el centro de la plaza hay puestos de pintores y artistas plásticos que hace el paseo un poco más interesante.
La actividad es gratuita.

Grande Praça, mas normal

Uma grande praça a 300 metros da praia de Ipanema. Ponto de metro com ótima conexão para as demais áreas do Rio. Aos Domingos tem um feira ripe famosa no local. Recomendo visitar, mas rápido.

Большая площадь на Ипанеме

Большая площадь на Ипанеме, рядом с одноименной станцией метро. До пляжа триста метров. Рядом много кафе, магазинчиков, парикмахерских. Много бездомных вокруг, поэтому запахи на площади не ароматные. В воскресенье здесь хипповый рынок, рынок рукоделия, Художников и мастеров! Лучше всего сюда зайти или заехать в воскресенье.

Muitos furtos e roubos na região

É um lugar lindo, próximo à praia, mas atualmente é extremamente perigoso circular por lá, especialmente na feirinha de domingo. Muitos furtos e assaltos, mesmo com presença da polícia! Os bandidos não se intimidam e atacam pedestres sem cerimônia. Se vc for lá, não use jóias, relógios ou manuseie celulares. Evite ir de carro, pois são poucas as vagas disponíveis e o risco de ser assaltado ao ir pegar o veículo é grande.
