Endrew helped us and was really nice and spoke perfect English. He offered us samples of as many cachaças as we wanted to try. Cool street art around too. Stop by here!

The Lapa e Arte is an alternative souvenir shop strategically located at the foot of the famous Selaron Steps. Opposite the shop are a few of the most impressive street art murals of Rio. Adds to the attraction!

Owners used to live in the US. They speak perfect English, and are a lot of fun. They also offered us samples of Cachaca from a local family farm! Highly recommend visiting this place

Santa Teresa
Santa Teresa is a bohemian enclave hosting many local
artists’ studios. The narrow, winding streets of this
neighbourhood were revitalised years ago, and visitors
can now stroll through this area to view magnificent
mansions dating back to the late 19th and early 20th
century. A highlight not miss: Museu Chacará do Céu, a
former mansion turned museum which houses works by
prominent Brazilian modern artists.
