The museum is the small house of Santos Dumont. It has some interesting items but nothing that would be mind-blowing. If you're interested in the history of aviation, you will enjoy this place otherwise it is just another museum.
We spent an amazing day because of our outstanding tour leader Flávio! We want to see Casa Stefan Zweig and Flávio had studied this spot and was able to give us a thorough review of this and all other places!
This place is at the top of a hill and the steps are toggled, because Dumont was notoriously superstitious and needed everybody to climb left foot first. The house is tiny and has no kitchen, since the famous aviation pioneer had all his meals delivered...More
This multi-story home is delightful in architecture. The brief summary of his life points and a few legacy items are interesting. The location lacks parking.
