The water here is slightly muddy so it is not the best place to go for a swim but having a drink at the end of the day on this beach (numerous little bars) is a very peaceful experience.

It's the nearest to the historic center. Small, but clean water. Good for kids. There are snack bars too. YOu can sunbathe and relax.

This is a nice beach if you want to have something to eat or drink, but not suitable to have a swim.

Not a very fun beach, because there are chairs everywhere. There is almost no space to lay down and chill. Also the music that is being played by the different cafes is annoying. Just walk a bit to the next beach.

It's a beautiful beach to walk along and enjoy the coastal view of Paraty! We went there twice. The first was the evening we got to Paraty, when we walked on top of the breakwater up to its end to take stunning pictures of the sea, as well as the whole city during sunset. The second visit was the next day. It was sunny, and we saw people sunbathing/swimming. You can rent a standup pedal there. Price should be around R$20 for 40 minutes (based on the price at Jabaquara Beach). A must visit as it is really close to the Historic Center!

Quiet beach, great for relaxing, enjoying the view and enjoying the kiosk services. We were very well attended to at Quiosque do Marcão.

When I went it was a very quiet place with kids playing. But I don't think it's propitious for bathing. But there are restaurants and kiosks.
