We had two amazing days with Michael. We did the kayaking on the Friday and hiking on the Saturday. Both were fantastic experiences. Michael was a superb guide and a really nice guy who my partner and I enjoyed spending time with. I would highly recommend. Michael knew a lot about the history of Paraty, the geography and the people. This made our holiday what it was.

Many thanks again for choosing Paraty Explorer for your hiking and kayaking in Paraty. They really were exceptional days, and you chose the perfect combination of sea and forest. Not exactly what Palin did when he was here (coincidenally the Paraty episode was on again in UK while you were here), but then he shouldve followed our advice! hahaha. Looking forward to showing you more of Paraty when you come back!

We did rent kayaks from Michael, he organised for us a selfguided tour, as I am an experienced kayaker. We had amazing 3 days, he was superhelpful. It is the only place to find proper kayaks in the area. Highly recommended!

My husband and I have been exploring Paraty for 20+ years and one of the surprising things is that we continue to discovering new places, new tours and having a great time. This kayak tour is a must for the ones who enjoy the sea and a little bit of sports and adventure. Leaving from Jabaquara calm beach, the tour takes you to beautiful islands and a nearby mangrove. The overall scenery is just gorgeous with blues from the open sky and all sorts of greens from the waters and forest, all framed by these endless chain of mountains around. Michael is a terrific and experienced guide, the kayaks are in excellent conditions and we felt safe all the time. We also met nice and interesting people in our group what made the ride very pleasant. Definitely we will go for another tour and bring friends.
