The Trail is a historical Path that by itself can tell hundreds of Stories... But, besides the historical interest, One can Experience an astonishing Landescaped rom up there, as well as the great amount of Art Galeries and gourgeous Cafés.

Harry was a great tour guide - like visiting a place with a friend, but a friend that has a lot of knowledge about the history of a place. it really add an extra dimension to my stay in Paraty and I learnt a lot. Sliding down the rock was really fun (although not so elegant!) and all captured on... More

The half day Gold Trail hike was an easy hike which was a good thing since we were busy looking at all the scenery. Lots of opportunities to take photos and talk about the trees and flowers. Harry, our guide, was very informative and was patient answering our many questions. He was able to keep our teenagers interested while he... More

Really enjoyed swimming in the lagoon, under the waterfalls and sliding down the rocks. The guides and jeep driver were very friendly. It was a wonderful experience to be deep inside the... More

I believe that I found out about Paraty Explorer while browsing through a TripAdvisor forum about Paraty, Brazil. We wanted to do something in Paraty that combined physical activitiy and the chance to learn about the history of the place, and as soon as I heard about the Gold Trail, I knew that it was a must-do for us! I... More

I was in Paraty last month with a friend who was sick. I chose this half-day hike to do alone and it was one of the best four hours I spent during my Brazilian vacation. The hike provided a nice chance to climb and explore without being overly strenuous or time-consuming. And the guide was super personable and knowledgeable of... More
