The view is wonderful!
Oceanic beach, therefore, has a lot of waves, children need to be comfortable. But the temperature was excellent, refreshing on a hot summer day. There isn't much structure, but we were able to rent 2 chairs and an umbrella (R$40 set). Food and drinks must be taken as we did not find any stalls or vendors selling anything. I don't know if it was due to the season. Access through the condominium, there are no buses nearby.

Camboinhas beach is a place to rest and enjoy your day and to appreciate the view from Rio de Janeiro.
There is a lot of bar on the beach, there is many park space at the street, you just have to pay for “guy” (estacionamento shirt) and he will that put a paper in your car giving you a full day parking spot.
Value around 2-3 usd.
Just put on waze the plate address from the photo.

Calm, buses are not allowed. There are a lot of quiosques along the beach that offer free tables and chairs. You can eat some fish, drink a beer or just relax The view is amazing. Only try to avoid it during sundays in the summer. Or, try to arrive early to get a nice spot! Calm water, great view, great for families and kids!

Camboinhas have this name due to a shipwreck many years ago (28/May/1958).
Now you can find a lot of nice "quiosque" to eat different kind of food, but principally seafood.
You can stay at the beach and continue being served by the qiosque you chose.
Good frequency of people, and the sea is normally calm.
nice beach to spend with the family or with friends.

Camboinhas beach is perfect for families: lots of kiosks (little restaurants) and it offers some comfort to stay longer at the beach. Take care with the sea as it is open ocean, but its HUGE coast offers the opportunity of wonderful walks in the sand. You can only reach it by car.

Away from city but not so far. Great location, easy to park your car. Make sure to bring protection cream for the sun and mosquitos.

Olá, como é acessibilidade para a praia? Eu vi que o acesso é de carro. Do estacionamento a areia é longe? Tem aluguel de cadeiras e guarda-sol? Obrigada!
Written October 13, 2019
