The fort is quite amazing but the tour is made in a guided tour and it is only in Portuguese so we couldn't understand . We tried to just walk and view the fort but we're not allowed so we left. Bit disappointed.

The views are amazing, the tour done by the army was excellent (only in Portuguese that a friend translated). The fort has unbelievable views of Rio. We went in the evening and the sunset was brilliant. This is not publicised enough, it cost 10 Reals...More

I owens let my guests to know this place when in first time in Niterói. This is a militar quarter, then you must have car and at entrance you must show your documents for a soldier. Inside you find commerce for coolers and restaurant.

It´s a good place to have a view from the entrance off the Baia da Guanabara. The ships come closer to the fortress and it´s available a guided visit in the fortress.

Very nice and relaxing place. Nature is beautiful and so is the cultural and historical heritage. You can seat by the sea for hours and and relax. Very good and positive vibrations. I reccomend visiting.
