There are tons of well marked jungle trails. Beautiful, peaceful, and relatively easy terrain. I could've hiked for days and found little beaches and waterfalls throughout.

You can walk and cycle for days on Ilha Grande. There are no cars riding here and the forest is unspoiled with a great amount of birds. You can hear the howler monkeys everywhere.

Beautiful way to get some exercise and see the island before relaxing on the beach. Main paths are well marked and fairly well maintained. The trails are quite steep and are slippery after rain. If you pay attention you may see small monkeys along the...More

This is a lovely forest with an old prison, still functioning aqueduct, swimming hole and a waterfall. The trails are a bit unkept and you must take care. It's a beautiful walk through the jungle growth, birds and monkeys are about.
