We took a schooner tour, half island, that included an hour stop to snorkel at Laguna Azul. This is included in most of the tours but since all of the agencies arrive within a similar time period, you end up sharing a mid sized space with the participants of 6-7 schooners at a time. Not all that it is cracked... More

Went on a day tour which included some other islands. This was the first stop. It was a bit crowded, but every boat has it own space so you can swim around with the fishes and get underwater pictures taken for R$30 (R$60 of you're a couple). Beautiful!

Ok experience but overcrowded and feels very tourist like as a result Area is beautiful and lots of wonderful fish but too many boats and people mean this is far less impressive than Lopes Mendez

With clear water, great spot for snorkeling. We could see amazing fishes, reefs, see turtles... we asked for a boat taxi and stayed there for around an hour. Don't miss it!

For a boat trip we recommend doing a speedboat tour. We took Objetiva and found them friendly and professional. Their speedboat takes about 20 from Vila Do Abraao and departs at 10.30 for about 5 hours. The fast boat takes you to the other end of island starting with the Gruta do Acaia cave visit R $10 pp extra. Don't... More

A must-see in Ilha Grande. We went to Lagoa Azul as a part if an organised trip by Easy Transfer. Would definitely go again. Highly recommended if you like snorkelling.

We visited Lagoa Azul and the water was calm and the bottom is mostly sand with less life to see compared to Lagoa Verde. There I just saw a few fish (even a flying fish), crabs and a starfish. Another guys saw a green turtle.... I was not that luck!
