We went there by boat, it was fine. It is a very beautiful place to know and visit. It is a place that you can go by foot.

We visited Ilha Grande and were offered many tours, in speaking to other people we decided to do the half island tour which included Lagoa Azul. It was a beautiful place & would highly recommend a tour that includes this.

Enjoyed this tranquil spot for a bit of a swim and snorkel. Not quite as nice as some of the pictures I saw but still very nice. Well worth a visit on one of the many tours such as Meia Volta.

Simple beautiful, I only don't give 5 stars because when we went there, we could see a lot of garbage beside the stones. I feel sorry for this people which throw trash in a amazing place like that. We were not so luck, it wasn't a really sunny day, but we could admire every shot..

This place could be nice, but without the trash floating on the water and hundreds of boats full of tourist. Do not go there if you are here during vacations. Choose a more quiet place, in the other side of the island

opted out of the full or half day trips and chose instead to water taxi to Azul only. glad we did as the trips are quite long. Azul was nice but snorkling marginal and was very busy. lunch at the private beach on way back was highlight.

A beautiful place to snorkle, even if it was a bit full. The water was crystal clear, and you could see at least 10 meters down.

Ilha Grande is a little far from Rio de Janeiro, but it is definitely worth the trip! Lagoa Azul has the clearest and bluest water I have ever seen! A great place for snorkeling! I got to swim by many fishes and even a sea turtle! The annoying part is that it is getting too "capitalized" and in some parts... More

Same as Lagoa Verde, place is nice but too crowded... Unless you like being packed in the middle of a crowd of "swimmer" suspended on colored "fritas". Far too many tourist boats on the same small spot. Place must be beautiful without the numerous boats

I'm not surprised the company itself isn't listed on Trip Advisor, as I can imagine it would be all terrible reviews - came across few on various other listings! "The Ilha Grande Tour" was recommended to us by our hotel, so we thought it would be better than other similar tours advertised at half the price - we were extremely... More
