Beautiful beach but there is a pipe letting sewage into the sea, spoiling what is otherwise a spectacular beach. There is a simple restaurant on the beach where you can get fish and chips.

The whole island is lovely. This beach is beautiful and peaceful. Lovely place for photos and for a swim. I'd love to return to Ilha Grande and stay on this beach camping for a few days of relaxation.

This was one of the greatest places I've ever visited. When we arrived in the tiny village of Abrao,it was like we had stepped into something created by Disney. Torches lit the dirt and cobblestone pedestrian roads through the village. No cars are allowed on...More

Stopped briefly as part of a schooner tour (love these graceful ships) and found it to be one of my favorite beaches. Not overly impressed by the crooked palm tree but there is an old church and a trail behind it that takes you to...More

We did Aventureiro as part of a day tour, along with Meros and Parnaioca, which are all spectacular. The sea is quite rough to get there though, so I would highly recommend sea sickness tablets. Caxadaco was also part of the trip, but we found...More

Very remote only accessible by private boat or once a day village boat. Be sure to snap a picture of yourself with the tree to prove you were there. There is also some vista points on some rocks to climb. Beach of course is very...More

You can walk from one beach to the next - there is spring water available on most beaches for showers or drinking.

By far one of the best beaches on this island! It just looks amazing and feels like you are in a paradise island. The water is very refreshing and you actually have other things to do like climbing a rock to get a very good...More

I wold like to take a boat tour of some of the islands off of the Brazilian Coast. I love Morro de Sao Paulo and would like to find a 3 day charter boat to tour others in this area and then stay on an island for a few days. Also would like to do the Carnival in either Recife or Olinda. Any suggestions?

Hi, visiting Feb. 2016 - wondering what the best way is see this beach. I noticed it's quite far away from the town, so is a boat the only way to get there?
