Lovely beaches around Búzios but loved this one as there was less boat traffic and huge area to paddle and swim.
Deckchair and umbrella hire was free as long as you bought some drinks and food which we did as we were there all day.
Tip - walk further down the beach away from the boat taxi area as it is less busy and you’ll have more space and sand to relax in. It’s not a huge beach so really worth walking to the other end - we went about 3/4 the way along.

We spent a day here and loved it. It is busier and more commercial than Azeda and there are lots of bars to choose from. You can use the beds and tables in the bars for free but of course will be encouraged to buy drinks/food. Alternatively you can walk further down for a free spot but without bed/umbrella. We chose a bar and had a great time; beer/water /caipirinhas/ breaded prawns and chips. The best part of the day was the sunset- walk through the shallow part of the sea to get to the rocks and enjoy!! ☺️

This beach is a great place to stay in the run-up to the Brazilian high season (from after Christmas) it's relaxed and with some nice privately exploited beach terraces. In winter (our summer) it's empty and although just as beautiful, not really the best beach in that season.

A beautiful place to spent a whole day with your familly. Safe to children and a great diversity of food. Restaurants along the beach give you shelter from the sun and a choice of dishes, fresh catch from the sea!Really wonderful!

Nice clean sand, big waves, ideal for swimming and tanning.
Little bit overcrowded, but if you go to the top of the beach, there is lot of free space.
You can get a water taxi to the Buzios centre.

Not very impressed to be fair there was a bit of rubbish and debris and although the view was good the beach was quite small and crowded, with chairs and umbrellas being used forgetting people into bars.

The vendors on the beach were pests and kept coming back blocking the sun and the view.

Still one of the better beaches to go for a quieter time. Clean and clear ocean. Not too many kiosks around specially at the left end (when facing the ocean).

Just charming beach, lots of green around it, warm and quite waters, with lots of places where to sit and enjoy the caipiriñas. Also you can share your swming with the tortles. To get there is also nice as you can get the "Taxi acuatico" through Rua das Pedras get and unexpensive motor boat to the beach. or a long walk through the "mato" (abundant native vegetation). Both great.

This beach of Buzios is a beautiful paradise of calm and warm waters and coarse sand. The middle of the beach has a division of rocks that are inhabited by a wonderful variety of sea creatures. This place is great for snorkeling and if you're lucky you can even see turtles swimming with you!
You can reach it walking, but if you go by car I recommend you to go in the morning or you won't find parking lots available.
