Great fun to play in the waves, play bat and ball or eat/drink and nearby shacks/restaurants Easy walk from centro or hire a buggy Quiet and calm beach which we enjoyed was Ossos - better restaurants and a great spot for paddle boarding

Across the island from Buzios town this little gem does tend to get crowded, great waves for surfing depending on the day and conditions but not a great beach for kids due to wave size and currents. Beach tends to fill up as it is constricted between two spits of land, quite a few restaurants and bars that offer lounge... More

This is a beautiful and nice beach. There you will find chairs and tents for rental. Worth to spend a day there.

Nice beach surrounded by nature with little infrastructure outside of the 2 restaurants/club. The sea is quite agitated and it can be quite windy too, but good for a swim.

Brava, which means strong or forceful, is a really good name for this beach. It faces the open ocean, is littered with rocks among the the sand, and the waves can be truly powerful. This is not a beginner's beach or one suitable for kids. For those not up to facing down the ocean's forces there is a fine restaurant... More

Very nice places, all beaches are pretty near, expect all of them to be crowded (Brava maybe not that crowded) plenty of sellers, seaters, etc. etc.. If you´re doing the round and about Rio, come here first and then Ilha Grande, the other way around will be a bit disappointing.
