A pequena vila de pescadores de Búzios ganhou fama internacional após a visita da atriz francesa Brigitte Bardot nos anos 1960. Em sua homenagem, foi erguida uma estátua de bronze na Orla Bardot, um dos pontos turísticos mais emblemáticos da cidade. A estátua, que celebra o impacto da atriz na popularização de Búzios, é um local frequentemente visitado por turistas e admiradores da atriz.

Our hotel backed right onto the walk this statue is on so we were able to get several photos with no queuing - we did see quite a long line later. It's a good photo opportunity for a fun memento. She get very hot to touch in the sunshine so take care if you intend to sit on her knee for your photo !

Certainly a show stopper on the boardwalk. If nothing else fun to people watch. The line was at least 20 people long

A must to see icon in your visit to Buzios. Located in front of the sea and close to the downtown it s a good oppotunuty to take some pictures, not only with her but also with the envinroment.

Photo opportunities here to be taken sitting on the beautiful Brigittes knee - an opportunity not to be missed. This lovely statue certainly does BB justice.

This statue is well worth a stop off whilst walking around town, would not seek out independently.
The detail is brilliant and it is a great picture opportunity, the amount of pictures taken with is crazy you may have to wait a few minutes.

I was totally impressed by the shops restaurant’s on this boardwalk. Búzios is a great place to visit nice and clean . I will be back with my family

The French star came here in the 60s, and Rio's beautiful people soon followed. Fifty years on, it is still Brazil's coolest resort. As far as thank-you gifts go, this is a good one. The Brazilian seaside resort of Búzios honoured its favourite holiday-maker with her very own stretch of seafront. And what a strip of land the Orla Bardot is, running from the centre of town to one of the peninsula's 23 beaches with breathtaking views of the bay.

Since the tour I'm looking at says meet at Brigitte Bardot Statue and we are on the Oceania Cruise ship, how close is it to our ship?
