Nothing worth a visit of an overly rated tourist trap, rundown promenade of out of business clubs and restaurants.
Good for peole looking for an Instagram picture lacking content and context.
The charm of the 60's has faded away long time ago and its sad to see tourists, mostly locals, in search for a story to tell.
Torist trap, Bardot lives in France and she is almost 90

Beautiful peninsula! Place to vacation and avoid the city of Rio, it is approximately 150km to the north bordering the sea, it has various beaches each with its particularity and charm, those that face the ocean (brava, forno, ferradura, geriba...) receive the sun in the morning and are usually a little colder, those that face the continent (joao fernandez, fernandhino, azeda, azedinha, ossos, armaçao, tartaruga...) see off the sun in the afternoon and are usually a little colder. hot.
Beautiful city, you can explore it easily by car, minibuses pass along the main avenue carrying passengers. On the Armaçao beaches is the center....with beautiful pedestrian streets and the Bardot border (mini boardwalk type). It has a beautiful church that dates back to very ancient times.
It is also close to two renowned destinations.....Cabo Frio and Arraial do Cabo.

The city of Buzios is a beautiful beach place situated near Rio de Janeiro with excellent hotels restaurant bars. Very crowded during summer vacation. If you avoid this period you will be able to appreciate all city center plainly.

La Orla is a rambla that overlooks the coast of several beaches very picturesque and opposite tioene the best restaurants in Buzios. Don’t pop up and don’t even go for a night and take your picture with the emblematic monument to Brigitte Bardot. It is also very nice to walk it in the afternoon and watch the sunset.

Walked along here all days we were in Buzios. It's a good walkway connecting the villages and offers great shoreside views and turtle watching.

I loved doing this walk every night during sunset. We would park our car down the end of Orla bardot and walk to town to get dinner. It's a beautiful view of the harbor and we saw SO many turtles!! I loved it. There is an amazing restaurant called "O Barco" it's Brazilian food. The fish and seafood were the best I've had in brazil. We got shrimp and fish moquecca. So good. Enjoy this slow walk along the water

This is where the posh restaurants are and the trendy bars clubs ! The difference between Buzios and St Tropez is that its 1/2 the price and as yet relatively undiscovered by europeans, personally unless you hope to be invited on a superyacht , which only happens if you are there looking for a sugar daddy for 3 hours ! This is better :)

This boardwalk begins in the pier next to 'Rua das Pedras' e goes along 'Bahia dos Pescadores' (Fisherman's Bay) up to Armação beach. The view of the gentle seashore and all kinds of boats is beautiful, there are several restaurants and bars along the way (my favorites are Bar do Zé, Salt, and 74, a restaurant inside Casas Brancas hotel). But the real attraction is the sunset, if you're lucky to be there in a clear day. Oh, and I was forgetting, there's also the famous statue of Brigitte Bardot, actress that lived there for a while in the 60's.

How did you find your tour guide for the beaches and town
Written January 27, 2018
He was lovely, only young, not brilliant English but he made up for it in enthusiasm and he also spoke French and Spanish as well as his native Portuguese

Que me aconselham?
E a segurança para sair de noite?
Written October 29, 2016
Para sair à noite, prefira Búzios. O comércio é mais estruturado ( e mais caro). No entanto não deixe de ir à Arraial, pois as praias são infinitamente mais bonitas. Lá não se tem muito o que fazer de noite.
