Clean but a bit dangerous for kids. Waves come from all directions and are ver strong. Early morning a bit calmer though.

We visited in late June early July 2018-the beach is wide with milder waves for the area, but nothing spectacular.

I was at Tabapitanga Lodge in front of this beach ! With low tide you can enjoy for a nice walking on the sand !

Great sandy beach with more wawes than in porto pools. Worth the walk at the morning alt sunset, about 6.10 am.

This was a highly touted beach in Porto de Galihnas, Brazil. We had a nice day and were able to walk out from the shore about 30 meters and still be able to stand!!!a lot of schooling fish come around and small bags of food...More

Our hotel was on this beach. Like most Brazilian beaches I've been to, it had strong waves. (Which I LOVE) some people like calmer waters though. You do need to be careful. The beach is lined with small roped off areas protecting sea turtle eggs....More

This beach is not so good to swim due to strong current . But is very beautiful . Avoid night walk on the shore once is very desert place.

Yes the sea is a bit rough but that means less people and kids (no ofence...). Ideal to relax, sunbathe and read your book. When and if you feel like a bit of the buzz, Porto the Galinhas is certainly the place...
