It was very cool for my 4 year old son, he loved the ride! I think they could have done a little bit more inside the mango in a smaller, closer channel. They go straight to the mouth of the river, but I think I could take another round of the mango.

This was one of our stops on our dune buggy stop. We paid 25 reals each to go on small river boat where we were taken along the river - the views were beautiful. We stopped along the way where the tour guide dove into the river to temporarily catch a sea horse to show us. It was a really nice river boat ride. Everyone was very nice. It is good for adults and children.

You can take buggy tours to get to many locations, but we decided to go at our leisure and take a cab. People advised at going at low to mid tide and I would agree. The guide said it is good because the water is clearer when the tide starts coming in. Just don't go at lowest tide or there wont be any water. We saw many crabs in the mangroves, snakes, and fish. The guides try to catch sea horses for you to see and we were lucky enough to be able to enjoy that. The tour is 20 reais a person which is good value for the 40 minute tour.

I was taken there by the bugger and they offered the jango ride at 50.00 per person and showed a photo of what we would see in nature and where we would go. We were delighted to know that we would see sea horses, but my expectation was to see them in nature. Finally, they take us to a place without any fun, then the boy of the jungle leaves you waiting and comes back with a sea horse in a bottle. I even got a little bitch. They take us in the mango, but they don't let us go down, they didn't see anything. After all, it's a tour invented to catch vacationers.

The first thing to be mentioned is: it costs 20 reais per person, so with that in mind, let's start. It is a tour around the junction of the river and the ocean. You will be able to ride along the river, see the seahorses and enjoy the view. It takes around 40min and it is better to be done in the low tide. Money well spent.

we expected something more interesting. the river is not deep at all, the boats (jangas) are very colourfull and nice, but the ride itself and eevn sea horses are not really intersting, if you do not do your own snorkling

It was worth going just for the experience although I use the word experience loosely. We were taken there by the buggy guide who told us what the best time to go was but it wasn't and i think that's because he was more concerned about us spending money in a restaurant than seeing the seahorses. The boat guide on another boat caught a seahorse to show us but ours was unable to as he said the current was too strong as it was the wrong time so we would have been disappointed so be aware of that. If you don't see a sea horse there go to the sea horse conservation centre in town entry is cheap and we'll worth the visit.
