we expected something more interesting. the river is not deep at all, the boats (jangas) are very colourfull and nice, but the ride itself and eevn sea horses are not really intersting, if you do not do your own snorkling

It was worth going just for the experience although I use the word experience loosely. We were taken there by the buggy guide who told us what the best time to go was but it wasn't and i think that's because he was more concerned about us spending money in a restaurant than seeing the seahorses. The boat guide on another boat caught a seahorse to show us but ours was unable to as he said the current was too strong as it was the wrong time so we would have been disappointed so be aware of that. If you don't see a sea horse there go to the sea horse conservation centre in town entry is cheap and we'll worth the visit.

We walked to the river during low tide just to walk across the "river" when there was no water. It was an unique experience to see the sand formation of the river bed. Didn't do the boat tour, so can't comment on that.

Is a little river there you take the *jangada* boat and they take you for 1-2 hours tour on the river. The water is not that clean but the 20 real is worth it
