“Great place for outdoor activities”

The beach is great, very calm, good for children (when the tide is low). This place is also great for walks and for beach sports. There are also nice restaurants with a nice view.

This beach looks to be developing at a slow speed, needs more attention of local people for keeping it neat & clean, beach itself is very good - a sandy beach with lot of attractions, water games and eatables.

Funny... Love the area, hate the beach

PE state is kinda awesome. its people, food, sun, all of it. But the "all of it" excludes the beaches in Jaboatao and Recife.

The beach is dark, uninviting. The water too green, looks polutes (it is not).

....and then the SHARKS.....

We lived there for 6 months and enjoyed the whole scene but left out the beach part.

Funny. Probably the only place we liked at the beach that had no beach at all....

A Região de Piedade em maior grau e um pouco de Boa Viagem tem risco, desde que você não ultrapasse os arrecifes (mar aberto). Eu vou a Recife de vez em quando, já fui a Itamaracá, Porto de Galinhas e Praia de Carneiro...nunca vi nenhum caso de ataque. As vezes em que isto ocorreu as vítimas foram surfistas.

Eu não sei se tem, mas acho que não tem pq Candeias é em Jaboatão e pelo o que sei Jaboatão não tem esse projeto, só a prefeitura do Recife.

Chris, ocasionalmente acontecem alguns eventos, mas nada que siga um calendário mensal ou semanal. A Prefeitura patrocina alguns eventos esportivos e algumas apresentações culturais ligadas a alguma festividade, mas o normal é não ter nada mesmo. Quem mais faz eventos por lá e o SESC de Piedade. Você pode ficar ligada na programação acessando o site da prefeitura ou do próprio SESC. Abraço!

Olá, Candeias NÃO é um bom lugar para passar o reveillon, por falta de atrações. Você pode se hospedar no bairro vizinho de Piedade, que tem preços mais baixos e ir passar o reveillon na praia de Boa Viagem, ou num clube. Candeias não tem hotéis e as praias são sujeitas a ataques de tubarão.
