The Parque das Aves is an essential tour for visitors of Foz do Iguassu, located near the Cataratas do Iguassu, beside the Iguassu National Park. In the Parque das Aves you will experience a direct contact with more than 1320 birds from about 143 different species. There are 16.5 hectares of lush Atlantic Rainforest maintained to provide the best habitat for our animals. This is a tour like no other. It is an unique and unforgettable experience in which you will find amazing birds. Enter our immersion aviaries to feel the beat of wings from vibrant macaws and look into the eyes of a toucan. There is plenty to feel and enjoy - beauty is everywhere and that is what motivates us every day to work for the preservation of our fauna and flora. We take into our care birds that are no longer in condition to continue living in nature and keep them in an environment where they can live happily. You are an essential part of this project. All you need to do to help preserve it is to enter into the experience with all your senses.

We zipped through in about 30-45 minutes so that we could make it back to catch a flight. It was amazing and lots of cool birds.

Situated almost opposite the national park entrance this is a lovely collection of native birds, set in "rainforest" like surroundings. All the enclosures are large, with many walk through averages. Particularly recommend the walk through Tucan and Macaw enclosures. Spend a good 2 plus hours...More

Liked some of the avaries, but thought some were cramped and need some TLC. Ok to while away an hour or so if you have time to spare. Much prefere to see wildlife in natural their habitat

If you have time after visiting the falls check out this park! The number of macaws you can get close to is incredible!

This place lets you have a small taste of the variety of birds that Brazil and the word has. There are some that just impressive. Tucans, flamingos, parrots and other really great specimens. You will have a great surprise at the end... or two. Enjoy!

It´s a place where animals (specially birds) are helped to recover from different deceases. Besides, you will find birds caught to people that tried to trafic. It´s an excellent place to relax and to enjoy with your family.

I enjoyed this, but really, it is more like a zoo than a "park". The vast majority of the birds are in display cages. Reasonably spacious cages as these things go, and well curated as these things go, but cages nonetheless. I have done things...More

It would be a long long walk. There are regular free park buses which stop right outside the Belmond and take you to the park gate. From there it is a very short walk to the bird park. We stayed in the Belmond so this was an... More
