The Parque das Aves is an essential tour for visitors of Foz do Iguassu, located near the Cataratas do Iguassu, beside the Iguassu National Park. In the Parque das Aves you will experience a direct contact with more than 1320 birds from about 143 different species. There are 16.5 hectares of lush Atlantic Rainforest maintained to provide the best habitat for our animals.

This is a tour like no other. It is an unique and unforgettable experience in which you will find amazing birds. Enter our immersion aviaries to feel the beat of wings from vibrant macaws and look into the eyes of a toucan.

There is plenty to feel and enjoy - beauty is everywhere and that is what motivates us every day to work for the preservation of our fauna and flora. We take into our care birds that are no longer in condition to continue living in nature and keep them in an environment where they can live happily.

You are an essential part of this project. All you need to do to help preserve it is to enter into the experience with all your senses.

Do take out some time from your trip to Iguacu Falls on the Brazil side to see this fantastic bird park. You can do a quick round in half and hour, but posing for pictures with our feathered friends can take upto 2hours. This park has been thought out very cleverly with some open enclosures to enjoy the exotic Brazilian... More

Seeing all kinds of birds of all types and colours was a very good experience. There is also some native indians dancing there. A perfect place to take the most amazing pictures.

We booked the behind the scenes tour. Louisa and Dominic, Gustavo and Eduardo were awesome! We fed the toucans and had a lovely snack with a boa! It is worth the small fee!

We went to this park not really knowing what to expect and stayed a lot longer than we thought we would. From the beginning you realize that this is on a really big scale and they have the birds grouped in different types of enclosures from huge ones that you walk among them to smaller where you can view them.... If you like birds and want to see Brazilian ones, I was not very lucky at the hotel (except small birds, I stayed Canzi Hospedes) nor at either side of the Falls then this is a must. Has local Misione Birds as well as largest Macaw population in captivity and excellent open viewing aviaries of these and others. Check web... More

Many different birds, appropriate place for wildlife, highlight the birds called "Tucanos". Other very beautiful birds are the "Araras" with their lush colors.

Great place to go with yours kids. lots of birds, rare birds that you don't see often. The guides put seeds in the kid's hands for the birds, and they love it.

I had somehow pictured above kind of dusty, dated zoo type of place... but no way. This was a paved walkway through an diverse array of birds in natural habitat settings with a very tropical feel for the visitors. Some are in wire or netting, but some allow the visitors to actually walk through the habitat itself for very up... More

On the way back from the Brazilian side of the fall, we stopped at thei bird park. It was very easy to navigate as it flowed in a rambling circular path that allowed you to see everything without backtracking. Our favorite exhibit was the Toucan exhibit...there were so many and they were so close!!!The signs were excellent and informative and... More

We spent nearly two hours here for the colourful birds and loved this park two times more than the Iguazu Falls next door.
