About
The Parque das Aves is an essential tour for visitors of Foz do Iguassu, located near the Cataratas do Iguassu, beside the Iguassu National Park. In the Parque das Aves you will experience a direct contact with more than 1320 birds from about 143 different species. There are 16.5 hectares of lush Atlantic Rainforest maintained to provide the best habitat for our animals. This is a tour like no other. It is an unique and unforgettable experience in which you will find amazing birds. Enter our immersion aviaries to feel the beat of wings from vibrant macaws and look into the eyes of a toucan. There is plenty to feel and enjoy - beauty is everywhere and that is what motivates us every day to work for the preservation of our fauna and flora. We take into our care birds that are no longer in condition to continue living in nature and keep them in an environment where they can live happily. You are an essential part of this project. All you need to do to help preserve it is to enter into the experience with all your senses.

    Birds
Great place to see native birds. If you have time and energy then go. Bring water and they had water to fill bottles in the park also. The owners maintain the grounds and make repairs as need. It is a short walk from the entrance to the falls.
Hello, Glenn. Thank you so much for visiting the Bird's Park and for your support of our species conservation work. Your visit helped us to save birds in the Atlantic Forest. We are glad you enjoyed it and had a good immersive experience. Check back often. Greetings from Parque das Aves.

Bird Sanctuary near Iguazu Falls (Brazilian side)
Since we were already at the Brazilian side of the Iguazu Falls, our taxi driver suggested we walk over to this park. As we had just spent a month hiking and birding through Panama, it was a bit sad to see some of these birds caged up. They are rescued so I guess for them, it is a good thing as they have a safe place to be. We saw the Harpy Eagle in the wild, a majestic and fabulous eagle; the ones in the cage here looked so sad.... There were beautiful birds though and the McCaws looked happy and colorful If you are at the Falls, a stop here is okay; not worth a separate trip.
Hello, Rochelle, thank you so much for visiting and supporting Parque das Aves. It is with the help of our visitors that we can carry out our work of rescuing, rehabilitating and sheltering birds that are victims of terrible situations and that need special human care for the rest of their lives. Unfortunately, more than 50% of the birds we house have been victims of traffic, accidents and mistreatment. We work hard to offer our visitors the best immersive experience in the rich Atlantic Forest biome. We are very happy that you liked it. We hope to see you again soon. Greetings from Bird's Park.

Worth Visiting if you See the Brazilian Side of Iguazu Falls
It is worth making the extra time to visit the Bird Park when you visit the Brazilian side of Iguazu Falls. It is across the street from the entrance to the Falls. It is not huge, but still large enough to have an amazing variety of birds. The flamingos, toucans, and macaws were the superstars. An onsite cafe for refreshments is a nice amenity.
Hello, thank you so much for your visit and support at Bird's Park. We're so glad to know that we are carrying out our mission to provide visitors with an immersive experience with the exuberants birds of the Atlantic Forest, like the blue Araras. Our work to conservert and care for endangered species and the Forest depends on our visitors, you are the ones who contribute directly to our important projects for the environment and science with the development of various researches in the area of this rich biome. That's why your support is essential. Once again, thank you for your visit and support. You're invited to come and visit us more often. Greetings from Parque das Aves.

    A lot of birds
Because it is next to the famous Iguazu Falls, I walked directly after finishing the trip to the waterfall. Tickets in 80 local currency are not cheap. There is a tropical rainforest feeling in the park. All kinds of birds can be photographed, and flashes are not allowed. Halfway through the journey in the park, I was thirsty and drank a coconut for 13 local coins. What impressed me most was that I caught a group of owls eating mice and pecked them one by one, which was very interesting.

Lots of beautiful, healthy and happy-looking birds in very large aviaries
Lots of amazing birds, in large aviaries with seemingly plenty of space for them to fly, flock and perch. A lot of the birds have been rescued from the wildlife trade. The scarlet ibises are so striking. The parakeets and macaws are particularly active and noisy. It's great to see the toucans close-up. The trail through lush vegetation works well.

This was the last thing on our agenda and am so glad that we did this. It was the best bird park that I have seen! Cost was equivalent to $30 USD for two adults. Didn't do any of the optional behind the scenes tours. It is near the entrance for the Brazilian side of the park on the other side of the street. There are more than 1320 birds from about 143 different species. Many of them are rescue birds. It is easy to follow the path that makes an entire circuit around the park. It took us about an hour but you could certainly spend more time here. Some birds are free-flying and others are in cages.

Even though we went in January, there were not a lot of people, could be because it had been raining earlier. I could see if it is crowded it might not be as nice. The birds were stunning and different then you see at the regular zoo in the US. I would recommend with kids for sure and even if not it is beautiful and the walk is not strenuous.

Park opened in 1994. Most of the birds are rescue animals, which can no longer survive in the wild. Although there are some other rainforest animals, the main attractions are the hundreds of macaws, parrots, flamingos and toucans. The birds are beautiful and you can get real close to them in the large aviaries. One toucan landed on a rail right in front of me, and was happy to pose for photos. Have some food outlets and a gift shop. Definitely worth a vist, especially for families.

This is the only park in the world with Brazilian Atlantic forest fauna, mainly birds. It was lovely to see all the macaws, hawks, toucans and flamingoes. However, keep in mind that the photos of people sitting with macaws are taken from those who have paid for the more expensive experience option.
A pleasant way to spend a few hours, particularly the butterfly house.

Different kinds of birds, several of which close to extinction. You can enter some aviaries, and get really close to toe birds. THe path has accessibility and is especially suited for children. My 1 year-old daughter just loved the tour! They have recently expanded the birds collection and have added more aviaries.

A fabulous conservation project very close to iguazu falls. Allow half a day. Well worth the R$60 entry fee. You will take far too many photos particularly of the Macaws! An easy level trail takes you through a good variety of birds, reptiles and even butterflies. Impossible not to love and a must-do when visiting the iguazu falls. An easy R$20 uber ride or R$50 taxi ride from Foz do Iguazu

as a animal right supporter person i usually dont pay to see animals in zoo or birds park but i visited this place because i heard this center is a place to protect and study about birds, This park offers different species of birds and some are amazing.
i do not consider this place as a real must see if you are in a ruch or you want to choose between this or the falls. how ever it depends on your interest

We weren't expecting too much from this visit, and one of group is partially-sighted was worried she wouldn't see too much. How wrong we were ! Because you could enter many of the enclosures you could get surprisingly close to lots of the birds. My husband took amazing close-up photos of the toucans, and for a small extra fee we fed the parakeets which we all enjoyed. Our partially-sighted friend could see and feel the butterfly which landed on her hand and stayed there for a couple of minutes. Overall we really enjoyed our visit.
