Tours and Tickets by Helisul Taxi Aereo Voos Panoramicos
Since 1972 we have performed panoramic flights in the city of Foz do Iguaçu. A unique experience lived by over three million passengers from all corners of the world, who were privileged with an exclusive view of the Iguazu Falls, one of the seven wonders of the world, and also with the view of other sights of the region.
All our flights and operations comply with aviation, environmental, and especially the strictest safety standards. Our company is aware of its role in relation to the environment, so we spread and practice this idea.
Since 2004 we have adhered to the Internal Environmental Management Program, achieving in 2006 the ISO 14000 certificate. Thus Helisul Táxi Aéreo became the first Brazilian civil aviation company to have ISO 14000.

Amazing experience! Having done several helicopter rides during our travels, this was one of our favorites. The helicopter appeared to be in good condition. There were three of us (the helicopter holds up to four people), and visibility was excellent in the front and back. The pilot handled the helicopter expertly, and made several passes over the falls. Given that we already paid a lot just to come to this out of the way place, the ride was a great value for the cost, because neither the Argentine or the Brazil sides provide a complete view of the falls - they are too large to be viewed in their entirety from ground level. We arrived at 9:00 am (the morning light on the falls is nice), and waited less than half an hour before we boarded the helicopter. The photos taken by staff were also reasonably priced. I understand concerns from some people about the noise of the helicopters for those at the falls, but the falls are so loud, that we barely noticed the helicopters overhead during our week there.

Stop using trip advisor! Zero customer service when you need it. No phone contact, no IM, no ability to reach anyone for immediate help. And to not be allowed to cancel or change a purchased ticket when the vendor is directing you to do so is unacceptable. This is the last time I purchase anything thru trip advisor. Use them for research, but purchase your tickets else where. As for heli, they did step up and took care of us. Thank you! The flight itself which is only what is being graded..... Least favorite of all the helicopter rides we have taken. I've used the same company in Rio twice and it was amazing. In Foz do Iguaçu I would suggest to save your money. The flight at any price just is not worth it. Others commented the constant flying which is true and you really don't get to appreciate the falls. No way to open the windows in the back to take great photos and if you get lucky to sit in the middle be prepared for those on both sides to take up your views with phones and cameras. You get maybe 2' at the falls off which 1/2 the time your on the opposite side of the chopper. If you do still choose to go, sit on the right side back seat is in the front.

I would very highly recommend this amazing helicopter ride! We did one over the Grand Canyon which was awesome also so wanted to experience something like that again. Near the Iguazu Brazilian gate entrance to the left of the entrance. It was hot so when we asked for directions how to get from the gate to the helicopter ride, the taxi driver took us for free (Helsul paid for the ride). It is certainly walkable though. Cost was $240 USD. Was able to use a charge card so charged in Brazilian real. There were two different helicopter types-one for seven people and one for four persons. You will be given a number after signing papers and will need to watch for that number on the screen. We waited about 30 minutes. There is a great gift shop in the building with nice tee shirts so spent the time there. Also, I love to take photos and wanted a window seat. I told the staff that I would wait extra so I could get a seat by the window. I didn't have to wait extra but the staff person made sure that I had a window seat in our helicopter of four. The helicopter turns so that people on both sides have similar views. At the end of the ride, there is a person that offers you a video of the ride or a photos of you near the helicopter. The video was expensive so we didn't take that but instead opted for a 5x7 in front of the helicopter for about $7 which came in a nice folder. You can buy tickets online ahead of time but it is still first come, first serve. There wasn't a line to buy tickets, just to wait for your ride.

The helicopter trip lasts for 12 minutes and, at US$115 per person is expensive. However, it’s a “once in a lifetime” indelible experience. The pilot gave us a panoramic view and a close-up perspective of this awesome natural phenomenon.
