We scheduled the 5:30 pm time, which was the best fit for our day's schedule. We paid R$60 per person for the ticket.
We just entered, a guy (supposedly the guide) accompanied us, he didn't give any information, he just asked if we had any doubts or questions to ask. I asked some questions, but if I hadn't, he wouldn't have said anything.
We asked if it was just that, such perplexity in paying a high price for such a minimal experience.
Without any religious criticism!! The criticism is in relation to the amount charged for what is offered (nothing).
The disappointment was so great that we didn't even want to take photos that could be posted here.

I don't recommend them, the service was very bad when I went, almost everything was closed, not even to do the midday prayer, the person in charge that day was worse than a yacare, nor do I recommend buying anything in the stores across the street, everything is 3 times more expensive. It's lucrative. It is not worth it, they can go to another Arab country like Turkey and see better than this and better treatment and better hosts with tourists and foreigners.

During the tour, a video is shown about Islam and then there is the visit to the mosque itself. Is fast. But I thought it was valid for those who want to know a little more about religion/culture. The service is very good, the attendants are very kind and helpful, answering questions and curiosities.

I loved to meet the mosque, I had never entered one. Arriving there it is necessary to put the costumes they wear. We know a little about history. A place you can not stay outside on your trip to Foz do Iguaçu.

Quick and very instructive ride. I found the place beautiful and very well taken care of. When we arrive we have to dress according to the customs of the Muslims and we start with an educational video, where we can then ask questions. After that moment we gained a Quran and we met the mosque inside, with more instructions. After that, we are willing to see the temple outside. Quick visit but very interesting.

I completed a city tour of the city and it included visiting the Mosque.
Right at the entrance we had to adapt ourselves to the religious attire and then we went to see a brief presentation on the topic. Afterwards, we were taken to the Mosque to take photos and there we answered questions with a very attentive girl.
At the end of the tour we were taken to the local shop. Outside, opposite there are two wonderful regional food stores. It is recommended to eat the saffron cake.

It was a great disappointment. First, women are not allowed to wear shorts, however men are. Discrimination!!!
Women are required to wear a head/arm scarf provided by the mosque. However, it is not a disposable scarf so you never know who was wearing it before you and how clean it is by the time you are supposed to wear it. Extremely unhealthy proposition.
And after that, you are not really allowed into the mosque. You step in by the door and that is it. So, why visiting the place? To collect funds for the mosque?
Not worth it! Tours should remove it from their itinerary and visit the city of Foz do Iguacu instead!

One of largest Muslim community outside Middle East, this beautiful mosque is open to visitors of any religion. Obviously, it is not so beautiful or rich as other mosques in Turkey or Lebanon, but the essence to spirituality is preserved. All built in white, with blue carpets inside, candelabros, several people go there to pray or keep in touch with the Allah. Women should wear a cover to the hair to get inside. Worth a visit.
