The only reason that I heard about this tour was through my hostel owner saying it was the best tour in Curitiba. This is the only tour I did in Curitiba. However, if I only had to choose one tour, I chose the right one. The tour guide, Carol, really made an effort to make sure everyone was having a great time. I was worried that my friend and I would feel left out because we were the only non-Brazilians in the tour, but by the end of the night, I felt like a true brasileiro. I was worried that the tour would include a lot of walking, but every bar was within a few blocks because they were all in the same neighborhood: Sao Chico. Finally, I cannot heap enough praise to Carol, who changed this from an ordinary tour with strangers to an intimate and memorable experience.
