This zoo is very different from the typical US Zoo. First of all, it is way off of the beaten path. You literally have to take a tiny back road to get to the zoo. It is a bit far from the city. The zoo is FREE, so that is very nice. Very quiet. Very few people visiting the zoo when we were there. We literally felt line we had the entire Zoo all to ourselves. Very clean. A nice variety of animals. There were no concession stands, so hopefully you don’t get too hungry. Some big hills in the zoo, so you will get a good workout walking around. This is a nice place to visit.

A good place to go with children, the zoo is big and there are a lot of things to see there. Also outside there is a restaurant.

Get ready for a very long walk in a jungle like environment observing beautiful animals! Put your most comfortable shoes on, take your water along and watch the tiger and the monkeys in a very unique environment. Bus service available - no taxi stand.

I was amazed and happy because the animals have lots of space and they are actually in their natural environment. Beautiful surroundings... lovely! Just mind if you get here by taxi and you wish to return by taxi, book it ahead. Otherwise, you can take the bus and take a taxi from the terminal station. This zoo is worth every minute!

We decided to visit the zoo with our one year old daughter and we were really disappointed. The zoo is not well taken care of and the animals are put in such tight spaces there is no room for them to run, play or fly. You can tell they aren't taken care of well, their fur and feathers are matted and just their overall appearance is depressing. I feel bad for the animals who live there.
