Certainly a must visit for architects or for extreme design lovers, 15 to 20 minute walk from the beach it is situated on the upper plane of Cabo Branco overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, it's a good idea to get information from your hotel or on the net as to what is on show. Sometimes there are very good music performances, local art and talent.

Please note that Estação Ciências and Estação Cabo Branco is the same thing! If you stay at a hotel on Cabo Branco beach, it's a nice walk to this building along the beach. Just follow the road. There are no signs but you can't miss it. I only saw the first floor exhibition, and it was nothing special, but the buding itself is cool and if you travel with children, there are some stuff to play with outside in the garden.

The Estação Cabo Branco was designed by Oscar Niemeyer, who also designed the UN Headquarters in NYC, and the Brazilian Capital Brasilia, so if you are a fan of architecture, you really must stop by. It's also located near the easternmost point of South America, so you can do both in the same day.

The buildings are nice, and we have been coming here over the years with the ecpectations that the building will get more content. Unfortunatly it's the opposite. Now there is just half a floor with exhibitions left. There are some scientific objects for kids to play with outside, but not in the shadow. So it would be better to come here when the sun is not to strong. The woman in the outside cafeteria was very nice and forthcoming, but there is not much on the meny.

You must visit Estação Ciência when you visit João Pessoa.
You will have a beautiful view from the beach of João Pessoa and the architecture of the building is very interesting.
You can also check out some showings and exhibitions they offer from time to time.

We didn't have enough time to spend at this city. However, I could see that the city is full of historical and architectural places. Also beautiful beaches. Bad the day we were there was raining. I hope came back one day and explore in detail.

You should visit everything. It is a nice place to go, mainly due to the architecture by Oscar Niemeier

It worths for who loves architecture and Niemeyer's work. However the exhibitions over there are not attractive. It may be a good thing to do in a rainy day. Otherwise, stay on the beach...

This place was projected by the architect Oscar Niemeyer, the same that did Building of the UNO, the Brasilia City, the MAC in Niteroi, Univ. Constantine in Argel, etc. In this complex works small expositions. It has free parking.
