It has a wonderful view. I recommend going during the day to get the best view. It has a bathroom and a small snack bar. It also has a market to sell typical products from the region. There's also a swing right on the edge of the mountain, great for photos. To top it off, there’s also a zipline and canopy tour. Parking is paid for those arriving by car or you can take the cable car, which is also paid.

I visit the place every time I'm in Poços. Today I was disappointed, as they created a parking fee area. It's unfortunate, as traveling by your own vehicle is even dangerous, as the route is careless, cramped and unmaintained, which can cause accidents.
If all this were improved, charged parking would not be so inopportune.
Either way, it should be completely free access for visitors.

Very nice and pleasant place. The access road is quiet and well asphalted. The view is spectacular and the space has various shops such as shops, cafes and restaurant. The gardens and access to the viewpoints are very well cared for. Perfect place to spend many hours.

A visit to the top of the mountain is a must. Great views of the Sugarloaf Mountain, Maracana and Copacabana. Take the cog railway up in the morning and don't let yourself be influenced by the tourist trappers in front of the ticket office. They can't go all the way to the top and you pay twice and have to walk a bit more.

I consider it a must-visit for tourists going to Poços.
The place is beautiful, the view is wonderful. You can arrive by car (paid parking, ample), and you can also arrive by cable car (closed cabin).
Right at the entrance there is a closed area with some stalls selling crafts, sweets, craft beer, teas, among other things. Going further, there is a charming coffee maker in the open area (underneath the Christ) to enjoy a cup of coffee and enjoy the beautiful view of the place. There is also a craft brewery almost in front of the cafe.
From what we saw, there were some things for extreme sports, but we didn't go for it because it wasn't our goal.
We loved the visit!

I have been to Christ since childhood. Arriving there, they wanted to charge for the car at the tourist spot. Then they talk q is for free. I didn't even want to visit. When I was coming back I changed my mind and had to pay. An employee said I was bothering pq decided to come back. It was embarrassing. Millions to make the Attraction and no quality in the service. It's over with my ride.

The trail signage is super easy to find, there is no way to get lost. The beginning of the trail is at Fonte dos Amores. Save some breath for the end of the trail because the climb there is steeper. The descent is more tiring than the ascent, so if you are not prepared, prefer to go down by cable car or by car.

One of my favorite views of Rio. Go on a day with few clouds and sunny. Choose the end of the day to catch the sunset at Guanabara Bay. Take the cable car to enjoy the ride even more.

Written May 23, 2017

Obrigada a quem puder ajudar.
